I love coming to this park with the kids whenever the weather is nice. It is an easy drive from anywhere in the western part of Paris. The setting is gorgeous, with plants, a little river inhabited by crayfish, and lawns. The visit to the farm is included in the entrance ticket. And of course, there are the rides. Many are for little ones, but there are still ways to get a few thrills. Special mention by the way to the new immersive dinosaur experience, definitely worth a try :)

Relaxing and pleasant setting for thalassotherapy trips. A big sandy beach where you can hang out without being on top of each other. The walk along the beach is romantic. As for the town, there are restaurants and shops, but nothing over the top.

A bit more expensive than the others in the area, but it has a nice pool, super bright rooms, a spa (treatments cost extra), and the zoo is just a stone's throw away (keeping in mind that is why we came).

Historic site that overlooks the city and the Danube. It is definitely part of the Budapest heritage you have to see. However, I did not find the buildings very beautiful. Massive and imposing, yes, but not exactly elegant.

From a purely architectural point of view, this religious monument is quite unique, and just out of intellectual curiosity, it is worth going to visit. Now, I think that if you are a believer, or at least spiritual, you will fall under the spell of the atmosphere of the place. For others, it is almost too much.

Housed in an old power station, this museum is packed with works that are all more surprising than the last, with varying degrees of success. Go check it out, you might love it, or you might just not get it.

A dream week in this former fishing village in the north of Tenerife that has become a seaside resort. There are quite a few things to see right there, between the old town, the Loro Parque zoo, which is top notch, and the beach. And then by renting a car, you can easily explore the rest of the island.

I thought I was visiting an imperial palace, but I discovered a complex the size of a city! It is huge, with so many buildings, palaces, and exhibits to see. Plan on a full day to see a good portion of the site, especially the must-sees like the Palace of Heavenly Purity.

Presented as one of the biggest aquariums in Europe, I was a little disappointed. There is one large central tank that is interesting, but the rest is pretty poor. In the end, you get through it quickly. The kids liked it all the same.
