The main souk in Cairo is a must-do if you like authentic places. There are tons of colors, smells, and noise. Of course, you shouldn't be agoraphobic, but personally, I loved discovering the many shops. The vendors don't hesitate to solicit you, which can get a little tiring after a while, but otherwise I highly recommend it!

The Plaza de España is truly impressive with its huge semicircle. Each of the benches represents a Spanish province. I really love this place, it is always very lively, with many musicians and street performances.

The Alcázar of Seville is a real gem, one of the most beautiful palaces I have ever visited. Right from the entrance, you are struck by the richness of the details, especially the azulejos and the carved ceilings. The gardens are just as impressive, with their fountains and palm trees. It is a truly peaceful place, and one you should not miss if you are heading to Andalusia.

Seine River cruises are a bit cliché, but it remains a truly incredible experience for anyone who loves Paris. They let you discover the capital in a different way, watching iconic monuments like Notre-Dame de Paris or the Eiffel Tower drift by. I recommend it, whether it is your first visit to Paris or not.

I recently went back to the Bois de Vincennes. It remains a really pleasant place to get some fresh air without leaving Paris. It is so big that you can do tons of activities there, like biking, walking, or just relaxing by the lake. However, some areas seem less well-frequented to me now, which was not the case just a few years ago. I would advise against going in the evening.

I really like the setting of the menagerie, with its old buildings and beautiful walkways. As for the animals, there are different species (not as many as in a zoo, of course) and the visit is quite relaxed. However, some enclosures seemed pretty small to me. It is still a very nice visit to do as a family, especially with children.

I hated my last experience at Aquaboulevard. I used to go there regularly when I was younger and had good memories. But what a disappointment when I went back! I found that the place had a really rough crowd and the water definitely did not seem clean to me. I definitely would not recommend it and I will not be going back.

The Cluny Museum is a must-see for anyone who loves the Middle Ages. The building itself is built next to Gallo-Roman baths and therefore has a unique charm. The collection is not very large, but the Lady and the Unicorn is really worth a look. A pleasant experience in the heart of Paris.

Thanks to an acquaintance, I had the chance to visit Sancerre. The town itself is really very pretty, with many historic buildings and houses, some dating back several centuries. The surrounding landscapes are also magnificent. A very pleasant stay, which allowed me to get some real rest!

Obviously, as a Parisian, I immediately thought of the Eiffel Tower when I saw the Tokyo Tower. Going up to the observation deck is nice, with a beautiful view of Tokyo, even if the city is so huge that you do not really know where to look anymore (a bit like in Paris, actually). It is not the most beautiful monument in Tokyo, and even less so in all of Japan, but I still recommend it.

The first time the light turned green and hundreds of people started crossing in every direction, I thought it was complete chaos. Between the giant screens, the noise, and everything else, it actually all happens so fast. But like I was told, crossing these crosswalks is nothing superhuman and I have to admit that the Japanese are extremely respectful when it comes to that.

The Pyramids of Giza are without a doubt one of the most impressive sites I have ever seen in my life. Obviously, the Great Pyramid of Giza is the most striking, especially when you are standing right next to it, as it seems immense (and it really is!). The only downside is the number of tourists, which can take away from the experience. Still, I was not disappointed by this visit that I had been looking forward to for a long time.

This temple is simply incredible. From the moment you enter, with the massive pylon and the statues of Ramses II, you are overwhelmed by the architecture. I was quite impressed by the good condition of the columns and especially the hieroglyphs that adorn the walls. A must-see during a trip to the land of the Pharaohs.

In the summer, Place des Vosges is really very pleasant, even if it is always crowded. But I like going there all year round, to just sit and relax or simply walk through. I especially love the red brick architecture, which I think has so much charm. Special mention to the Victor Hugo house, which you can visit.

I found everything I expected in Santorini. So, I wasn't disappointed, except for the number of tourists there. The blue dome of the church and its white walls are truly magnificent, facing the sea. The setting is superb, with little narrow streets. Whether you go in the morning, the afternoon, or during the sunset, you will fully enjoy it.

The Parthenon is a monument I had been wanting to see for a long time. I was finally able to do it a few years ago during my trip to Greece. The massive columns certainly give an impression of power, but the monument consists simply of ruins that are not necessarily well-preserved. However, the view of the city of Athens remains magnificent.

Even though it is currently closed, I have had the chance to go to the Centre Georges Pompidou several times, sometimes dragged along by friends. The exhibits rarely spoke to me, but I have to admit that I am pretty resistant to contemporary art. The exterior and its industrial architecture are not to my taste at all either. In short, I do not enjoy this place and I do not recommend it.

The Grévin Museum is a pretty fun visit. You can take selfies with the wax figures, which are really very realistic. However, I find that the choice of personalities represented isn't always very relevant. Also, the entrance price is really too high for what the museum actually offers. There are clearly better things to do in Paris.

I loved the Parc des Félins de Nesles, so I was really looking forward to discovering this new park dedicated to monkeys. I was not disappointed, because just like with the felines, the enclosures are relatively large and allow the animals to truly thrive. You can discover many different species of primates while walking along the built-in footbridges, which makes the experience really pleasant.

Seljalandsfoss is simply the most beautiful place I saw during my visit to Iceland. For those who love pretty photos, it is possible to go behind the curtain of water. The waterfall and the landscape make for magnificent shots. Expect to get a little wet, though! But hey, that is part of the charm of the place.
