Visiting Aquaboulevard in Paris
The largest urban water park in Europe
A beach, lounge chairs, waves, and water skiing. You are not on the French Riviera, but right in the heart of Paris at the largest urban water park in Europe: Aquaboulevard. Located in the 15th arrondissement, this massive complex carved out a space between historical landmarks and heavy traffic to house 7,000 square meters of facilities just past the Boulevard Périphérique, near the Porte de Versailles. We have selected it as one of the best things to do in Paris with kids.
You might have already spotted its glass pyramid structure next to the Paris heliport while sitting in traffic on the ring road. This distinct silhouette on the city skyline is split between an indoor area open year-round and an outdoor space accessible during the warmer months.
Water attractions for all ages
The interior is the main draw, featuring a lazy river, whirlpools, hot baths, a waterfall, water walls, and geysers. The real highlights are the three main attractions: the wave pool, the Tarzan rope, and the Wave Box, which allows for water skiing on an artificial wave.
The outdoor area holds its own with a surf pool, jacuzzis, and 4,000 square meters of fine sand where lounge chairs and over 30 straw huts from Mauritius create the illusion of a seaside beach.
Aquaboulevard would not be a center for relaxation and fun without its 11 thrill-seeking waterslides. With seven indoors and four outdoors, they range from easy to expert levels, each offering unique features and surprises.
More than just a water park
Once you are out of the water, you may want a snack or some downtime. Aquaboulevard is part of a massive leisure complex that includes restaurants, movie theaters, tennis courts, a fitness center, and shops. It is also a prime spot to host a child's birthday party or a pool party with friends. As a practical note, the park has a paid covered parking garage available.

I hated my last experience at Aquaboulevard. I used to go there regularly when I was younger and had good memories. But what a disappointment when I went back! I found that the place had a really rough crowd and the water definitely did not seem clean to me. I definitely would not recommend it and I will not be going back.
