About Rééducateurs Solidaires
Kinés du Monde is a humanitarian solidarity organization that trains healthcare staff in developing countries in rehabilitation medicine. Our missions work toward better care for people living with disabilities.
Since 1987, Kinés du Monde has been organizing intervention programs in response to requests from local institutions (daycare centers, dispensaries, missions, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, associations, and more).
Kinés du Monde sends rehabilitation professionals (physical therapists, as well as psychomotor therapists, occupational therapists, orthotists and prosthetists, and others) to train local staff. These volunteer expatriates rotate in six-month placements.
Over time, these efforts give local populations lasting access to rehabilitation care.
Our International Solidarity Organization (I.S.O.) contributes to public health and community health programs.
Donations, memberships, sponsorships, and the sale of support merchandise fund our programs. Purchasing support products is a concrete act of solidarity with real, direct impact.
