Intervening without pause, wherever poverty, exclusion, natural disasters, or armed conflict put the most vulnerable populations and people with disabilities at risk, by delivering creative emergency responses and long-term programs that support them toward independence.
Whether in contexts of poverty, exclusion, conflict, or natural disaster, Handicap International works alongside people with disabilities, survivors of landmines, cluster munitions, and other explosive remnants of war, the wounded, refugees, internally displaced people, victims of natural disasters, chronic or disabling illnesses, and violence (particularly women and children).
