Really nice hotel, with pools, entertainment, varied buffet meals, and the sea just a stone's throw away. Airport transfers were handled by the agency. Excursions to visit the island were available right from the hotel. Honestly, nothing to complain about, great memories.

With its large floor-to-ceiling windows and the open view of the river, this hotel is very bright. The staff is very courteous, and the Mexican decor gives it a real vacation vibe. As for the zoo, it is a bit far to walk. It is better if you have a car.

In the summer, the Palace of Versailles gardens offer a sound and light show called "les Grandes Eaux" that is worth the trip. There are plenty of water features with jets, mist, and lasers, all capped off by a big fireworks display. You can buy tickets separately for the palace or the water show. The grounds are really huge. Plan on several hours to see everything!

I think it is a bit of an exaggeration to call the slides "thrill rides," but they are still pretty fun. Plus, the area around it is beautiful, so the swimming in the outdoor pools is really enjoyable.

The inside and outside of St. Paul's Cathedral are both very beautiful, even though I have a preference for cathedrals with Gothic architecture (which isn't the case for this one). The big draw of this monument: you can climb to the top of the cathedral and discover some really lovely views of London!

I do not know why Faro is often highlighted as a top choice for the south of Portugal, but I was pretty disappointed. You can finish walking around the old town in 1 hour, it is not that lively, and the beach is far away. Anyway, go for other places in the region like Portimao or Lagos instead.

The park is really beautiful, whether it is the diversity of the animals you can see or the landscapes. The one little thing that bothered my experience is that you spend a lot of time in the car and, as it happens, you run into a lot of cars for my taste. Since the park is huge, I expected to run into fewer of them, but I think the guides tend to follow similar routes?

Look, I think everyone pretty much agrees that London has become an essential European destination. When you look at the big international stars who move to Europe, they often choose London. But to put things into perspective a bit, I would say the city is top notch if you are single: partying, meeting people, going out, going out, and going out some more, and it does not matter if you are subletting a room in a shared apartment. If you want to thrive there as a couple or a family, I think you really need money, otherwise it is not the place I would recommend first. Sure, the job market is dynamic, but it still depends on your profile. Not everyone is meant to become a finance executive.
