About SOL Alternatives AgroEcologiques et Solidaires
Founded in 1980, SOL is an International Solidarity Organization (ISO) that supports initiatives created for and by local organizations in Africa, Asia, and France over the long term.
"Feed the world, protect the planet": Agroecology, organic and community farming, food sovereignty, land access, protection of natural resources and biodiversity, promotion of local cultures, and vocational training are the core issues around which SOL works alongside its partners.
SOL supports programs over multiple years (four years on average) in order to concentrate its efforts on a few regions it knows well. The organization has built lasting partnerships grounded in exchange and mutual respect.
