After comparing tons of sites to book accommodations in Thailand, in the north of the country and on the coast, I can tell you that I found the most options and the best prices on Agoda. Once I got there, nothing to report, everything went as planned, and the rooms matched the descriptions.
Multicolor seafloor
While the land side is very arid and pretty monochrome (ochre color and dust), the seabed is magnificent, with coral, fish of all different sizes and colors, rays, and sometimes small sharks.
The most comprehensive museum in Cambodia
If you want to learn as much as possible about Cambodian culture, art, and history, this is the museum you need to visit. Plan on at least 2 hours.
A paradise for comic book fans

Great deals
Not as much choice as on the cruise lines' own websites, but some interesting last-minute deals. And no, cruises aren't just for old people :)
Unique architecture and a splendid garden

A great day with friends
This park has a reputation for having the scariest roller coasters in Europe. I haven't tried every theme park in Europe, but this seemed pretty standard to me. But hey, we still had an excellent day…

Selection not always complete but attractive prices
Site I use for last-minute bookings. They don't always have the hotel category we want, in the location we want, but you can find some really interesting prices.

Split is a very pleasant seaside resort on the Adriatic coast. There are some great little restaurants, a Diocletian's Palace that will immerse you in the past, and beautiful little coves with crystal clear water that feel less like tourist traps than the long beaches stretching for miles that you can find in some other places.
Huge area that is still inhabited today
Contrary to what the name suggests, Diocletian's Palace is not just one building, but an area that brings together several palaces and other structures. Inherited from the Romans, these monuments are…
Contrary to what the name suggests, Diocletian's Palace is not just one building, but an area that brings together several palaces and other structures. Inherited from the Romans, these monuments are very well preserved, and some of the buildings are still inhabited.

There is quite a bit of elevation in this national park, and as soon as you get off the beaten path, the trails can be difficult. It gets very hot there in the summer. The hikes can turn out to be quite a workout if you want them to be. The reward: a beautiful forest inhabited by century-old trees, birds and animals of all kinds, and lakes with crystal-clear water, plus refreshing waterfalls.

If you want your vacation in Bali to help you learn a little more about Indonesian culture, I recommend spending a day or two in the Balinese capital. Markets where you will see local crafts (furniture, decor, textiles, pottery...), museums, nice restaurants, and simply locals living their lives without worrying too much about you.
Beautiful city
Not as romantic as I expected, but it is still a very beautiful city to visit. The history there is very present.
Too much waiting

A concentration of majesty
The Doge's Palace, the basilica, the bell tower, the Grand Canal, St. Mark's Square is truly superb

A curiosity worth visiting
It is a place that is very different from the rest of the city because of its architecture and its "immaculate" white colors. It would be a shame to stay in Budapest without taking a look.
Pretty views of Budapest
The river flowing below, the city with its hill and castle taking shape on the horizon, the views from the bridge are some of the best in Budapest, especially at night
Magnificent building
The Hermitage is one of the most beautiful buildings I have ever seen in Saint Petersburg or even in Russia. Just for that, the visit is worth the trip.
