What to know about Aqua Mundo in Beauziac
A fern-lined road right in the middle of a massive pine forest brings you to Aqua Mundo, a water park located just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Bordeaux and 1 hour and 45 minutes from Toulouse, in the southern part of the Lot-et-Garonne area. It is set up within the Center Parc d'Aquitaine resort.

A water park with a unique identity
Tucked away inside a resort that opened on May 23, 2022, this massive 3,000-square-meter indoor water park is hard to miss. Its architecture draws direct inspiration from the region's traditional tobacco drying barns, featuring an imposing timber framework supporting a striking dome and wide glass windows looking out over the surrounding pine trees. Inside, terms like winter garden and tropical bubble fit well for this aquatic complex where local and tropical plants grow side by side.
A recognized complex known for exceptional waterslides
The stars of this Aqua Mundo are its three thrill slides, including the Anaconda and two Racers. The Anaconda lives up to its name, ridden on an inner tube while holding onto two handles for maximum thrills, while the Racers deliver their own dose of adrenaline with twin 81-meter-long parallel tunnels where swimmers can race each other. Top speed: 25 km/h.
It comes as no surprise that Aqua Mundo won 2nd place for its Racers in the best waterslide category at the European Star Awards 2022.
A complete leisure facility
Activities certainly are not limited to just these three slides. Under the massive dome of Aqua Mundo, you will find pools for all ages featuring whirlpools, jets, and waterfalls, a wave pool, a children's area with a water tree and wading pool, a lazy river, and a hot tub.
You can also take advantage of outdoor facilities, including pools, a wading pool, and a beach area to lay out a towel and soak up the sun. A wide range of water activities is also available for an extra fee, such as Aqua Gym, Aqua Bike, Aqua Speed, baby swimming classes, pool parties, and the spa.

I think it is a bit of an exaggeration to call the slides "thrill rides," but they are still pretty fun. Plus, the area around it is beautiful, so the swimming in the outdoor pools is really enjoyable.
