For guests staying overnight at a Center Parcs resort, access to the Aqua Mundo is free and unlimited throughout the duration of the stay. In fact, it is the primary activity included in the base booking package.

For outside visitors, you can easily use these facilities by booking online for day passes or even late afternoon passes.

Evening passes are rarely available during the summer season.

Most of the time, especially during peak season, buying a ticket on-site is not an option. Booking your spots online ahead of time is strongly recommended. You will notice that certain dates book up entirely, so make sure to plan your reservations well in advance.

What is Aqua Mundo?

Found in every Center Parcs resort across France and in the vast majority of European properties, Aqua Mundo is the brand name for their indoor water parks. Housed beneath heated glass domes, these water parks give you a tropical climate where you can swim and unwind year-round.

You can enjoy a variety of water activities for the whole family. Unwind in the wave pools, ride the waterslides, explore the whitewater rivers, and splash around in the water playgrounds. For a dose of relaxation, drop into the whirlpools. Little ones have dedicated spaces built just for them, including the water tree and the wading pool.

The Waterslides

A staple of any Aqua Mundo, the waterslides vary in number and style at each location. The basic setup stays the same: you slide down a tube propelled by a current of water, ending with a splash into the pool. Some tubes are open, others enclosed, ridden with or without an inner tube, solo or with friends. Certain slides let two people race side by side in parallel tubes (the Aqua Racer), while others drop you through high-speed thrill loops (the Aqua Loop).

Thrill-seekers should note that the largest slide is located at Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts in Lorraine, where the Master Blaster stretches for 190m with a 12m drop.

The Wave Pool

The Aqua Mundo typically features a main indoor pool underneath the dome structure, designed to mimic a tropical beach setting. In a section of this beach, or in a separate pool depending on the specific resort, sirens sound every 30 minutes to signal the start of the artificial waves. For a few seconds, you feel like you are out in the open ocean with waves reaching about fifty centimetres in height. Even though several lifeguards are on duty, keeping a close eye on your children is recommended.

The Whitewater River

Built indoors, outdoors, or both depending on the resort, the whitewater river mimics the fast and winding current of a natural stream. Designed to deliver high energy fun, these rivers let visitors ride a powerful current through turns, drops, and churning pockets. Equipped with inner tubes or bodyboards, guests race down the river while enjoying the splashing water and the rush of the rapids.

For overnight guests staying on-site, dozens of activities are available, spanning sports, recreational pastimes, and craft workshops. There is something for every age and interest. Keep in mind that apart from the Aqua Mundo, which is included with your lodging package, most activities cost extra.

The Farm (free for overnight guests)

Kids and adults can step right into pens housing different farm animals like goats, sheep, piglets, and rabbits. Certain locations like Les Landes de Gascogne even offer guided tours.

BALUBA (free for overnight guests)

Indoor soft play areas equipped for children under 12, supervised by their parents, where kids can climb, jump, and slide in a secure environment.

Creative Workshops (fee applies)

Led by instructors, these workshops invite the whole family to create, learn, and cook, heading home with a handmade souvenir like chocolate, a stuffed toy, a birdhouse, or a piece of art.

Video Game Arcades (fee applies)

Known as Gametown, these spaces let kids play arcade games and simulators, or team up and compete in multiplayer setups.
