What is Aqua Mundo?

Aqua Mundo Center Parc

Found at every Center Parcs in France and the vast majority of their European resorts, Aqua Mundo is the brand's name for its water parks. Located under heated glass domes, these parks offer a tropical environment year-round for swimming and relaxing.

There are various water activities for the whole family. Relax in the wave pools, slide down the water slides, explore the wild rivers, and play in the water playgrounds. For a moment of relaxation, hop into the hot tubs. Younger kids have dedicated areas like the water tree or the wading pool.

The slides

Aqua Mundo water slide

A staple of every Aqua Mundo, the number and style of slides vary by location. The concept is the same: you slide down a tube, propelled by a water current, and land in a pool. Some tubes are open, others are enclosed, and you ride them alone or with others, with or without an inner tube. Some slides feature parallel tubes for racing (the Aqua Racer), while others offer intense loops (the Aqua Loop).

For thrill-seekers, the longest slide is found at the Center Parcs Les Trois Forêts in Lorraine. The Master Blaster spans 623 feet in length (190m) and 39 feet in height (12m).

The wave pool

Aqua Mundo wave pool

Aqua Mundo usually features a main indoor pool under the dome, designed to look like a tropical beach. In part of this area, or in a dedicated basin depending on the resort, sirens sound every 30 minutes to signal waves. For a few seconds, it feels like you are in the ocean, with waves reaching about 20 inches (50cm) in height. While lifeguards are on duty, it is recommended to accompany your children.

The wild river

Aqua Mundo wild river

Whether indoors, outdoors, or both, the wild river simulates the fast, winding current of a natural stream. Designed for thrills, these rivers carry guests through turns, drops, and swirling zones. Often equipped with a tube or a bodyboard, guests ride the river while enjoying the splashes and the excitement of the rapids.

Other activities at Center Parcs

For guests staying on-site, dozens of activities are available, ranging from sports and recreation to creative workshops. There is something for all ages and tastes. Note, however, that outside of the Aqua Mundo, which is included in your stay, most activities cost extra.

Each resort has its own specialties. However, these are the core activities you are guaranteed to find at each of the 7 French locations.
