Great times with friends

We were looking for a place for 11 people to visit this part of the Netherlands, and we quickly set our sights on this destination. We went during the off-season, the price offered was unbeatable, and there weren't too many people at the Aqua Mundo, which was perfect. Everyone was able to enjoy their favorite activities while still being together in the evenings. It is rare to find properties that offer accommodations for 11 or 12 people. We were staying at the Marina, which was maybe a bit far from the main hub, but enjoying the Center Parcs wasn't our primary goal. From there, we were able to visit iconic local spots without too much driving: Amsterdam, the Keukenhof tulip gardens, the town of Edam... I highly recommend this Center Parcs for enjoying the region while also taking advantage of the park's activities.

A bit disappointed by the pool

The cottage was clean, but I was a bit disappointed by the pool. It is pretty small and it is kind of chaos in there. I would have liked it to be better controlled by the staff.

And be careful, the indoor activities are not all grouped in the same place. For example, you have to travel to get from the pool to the Action Factory or the farm.
Interesting perks: visiting the nearby fishing village and Amsterdam is not too far away.

Relaxing stay in a floating house

Not too far from Amsterdam, you can have a really refreshing experience.
For starters, we chose a houseboat for our accommodation. Inside, you don't really notice, but as soon as you look out the window, it feels a bit strange.
Then, in the small harbor, the vibe is totally no stress, and time seems to slow down. But that does not mean you will get bored! In the Aquamundo, the pool is top notch, and the slides are fun, free, and without much of a wait. For an extra fee, but it is original, you can even try an intro to surfing. I tried it and I only mildly enjoyed it because I really could not find my balance.

Almost perfect vacation spot

I really loved the 3 days we spent at this Center Parc. Let me explain:
- We booked a floating VIP cottage (right on the water) with a private sauna and hot tub, plus drinks with a view of the lake. It was a bit pricey, but top notch!
- Amsterdam is about 40 minutes away by car, such an incredible city to visit.
- The marina right next door has a real harbor vibe with fireworks, so you really feel like you are on vacation.
- The mini farm where you can get close to the animals without having to pay is always a hit with the kids.

One small regret: the water park is a bit small compared to the number of visitors.
