The Aqua Mundo at De Eemhof is the standout feature here, boasting 5 high-speed slides, a wild water rapids ride, and a Flow Rider surf simulator that you will not find at any other Dutch Center Parcs location. If you are into water sports, you can take to the lake for sailing, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, or even water skiing. Thrill-seekers will find plenty to keep them busy.
De Eemhof also leans into outdoor activities. You can visit the local petting zoo, bike through the surrounding forests, try your hand at climbing, or spend a quiet afternoon fishing by the lake. For families, the Action Factory is a massive indoor play zone with climbing walls, ropes courses, and trampolines, which is a lifesaver for keeping kids entertained for hours.

We were looking for a place for 11 people to visit this part of the Netherlands, and we quickly set our sights on this destination. We went during the off-season, the price offered was unbeatable, and there weren't too many people at the Aqua Mundo, which was perfect. Everyone was able to enjoy their favorite activities while still being together in the evenings. It is rare to find properties that offer accommodations for 11 or 12 people. We were staying at the Marina, which was maybe a bit far from the main hub, but enjoying the Center Parcs wasn't our primary goal. From there, we were able to visit iconic local spots without too much driving: Amsterdam, the Keukenhof tulip gardens, the town of Edam... I highly recommend this Center Parcs for enjoying the region while also taking advantage of the park's activities.
