Aqua Mundo Center Parcs With 9 locations, the Netherlands is the primary market for the Center Parcs brand. This high density is simple to explain because the company was founded here. The very first park opened in 1968, utilizing a concept that has hardly changed: a year-round vacation village featuring cottages (individual bungalows), a water park called Aqua Mundo, and a wide variety of indoor and outdoor leisure activities.

Since 2001, all Center Parcs in continental Europe have been owned by the French group Pierre et Vacances. You can book your stay directly through their website. Choosing a Dutch location gives you the chance to explore a different country with its forests, lakes, North Sea dunes, and Amsterdam, often called the Venice of the North.
