There are recent updates here, with fully renovated comfort, premium, and VIP cottages featuring a new design that can sleep between 4 and 8 people with complete amenities (living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, private terrace with patio furniture, TV, bathroom, and baby kit). The higher the cottage category, the more services and perks are included, such as a Finnish sauna, whirlpool tub, or a second TV. The Pagode cottage stands out as the best way to enjoy the Les Bois-Francs estate. For couples, the La Maison du Lac hotel offers charming, refreshed hotel rooms that include a breakfast buffet.

A relaxing father / daughter day

It's nice to be able to just enjoy the resort for the day when you don't live too far away (tickets are for sale on the resort website). After spending almost 5 hours in the bubble with my daughter trying out the many slides over and over again, the all-you-can-eat dinner buffet was a welcome treat before hitting the road.

Relaxing getaway, easy to plan

A relaxing, refreshing break that is easy to organize, without having to catch a flight, check your passport validity, and so on. You can treat yourself to a few days of tropical vibes right in the middle of winter.

Everything went great

The cottage was clean and spacious, and the front desk staff was friendly and available to answer our questions. As for the pool, it is really top notch and included with the stay. Between the slides, the wave pool, the wild river, the natural light, and the heating, we had a great time there :)

Way too expensive for what it is

Basically, everything costs extra, except for the pool.
So I have to ask, is it really worth paying this much just to play in a water park?

Plenty of things to do if you have a big budget

This vacation village is great if you have a big budget. The pool is free, but you need to budget for the rest:
- Meals to start with, whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner (you can also come with your own groceries and use the equipped kitchen)
- Bike rentals
- Many activities such as golf, pony rides, bowling, ping pong....

Good for a weekend, but not any longer

Nice destination, but if you stick to the free stuff, especially the pool and the walking trails, you will run out of things to do pretty quickly. So, for a small budget, I would stick to just a weekend, nothing more.

More expensive than a weekend abroad

I ended up getting dragged into a weekend organized at this Center Parc for a family reunion. It wasn't my first choice, but I went along with the group's decision. I didn't have a bad time, but I found the prices to be ridiculous compared to what you actually get. Aside from the pool, almost everything costs extra. The food is just way too expensive for what it is. Same goes for the paid activities. And yet, there are plenty of destinations abroad where a weekend including flight and hotel ends up being cheaper.

Basic

Basic, that is the word that comes to mind compared to my expectations.

Disappointing experience

Aging center, unmaintained exterior, unmotivated and unfriendly staff, dirty cottage (broken bed, dirty dishes put away, etc.), aquatic center is also aging (missing tiles in the pool, not enough changing rooms, etc.), very few activities offered for kids and most of them cost extra. This Center Parc is one to avoid at all costs!!!

Functional bungalow but lacking charm

Clean and functional bungalow, but in my opinion, they could have tried to lean into the forest immersion aspect a bit more.

Better than I expected

One of the older Center Parcs, so I expected to find a place that was a bit dated. Not at all. Very well maintained, clean, and some of the facilities and accommodations have been renovated.
I spent 2 days there with my family and I wasn't bored for a single moment. That is true for the adults as well as the kids.

A bit sad without the pool

With the pool closed for health reasons, it was a bit sad. It is still one of the only free activities that everyone likes. As a consolation prize, we were loaned 2 bikes for free. Not bad, but I would have loved to be able to relax in a tropical pool in the middle of winter.

Great for a warm getaway, even in the middle of winter

I really liked the concept of the Aqua Mundo, which lets you enjoy the water park in the warmth, even in the middle of winter.
The fully equipped bungalows where you stay are perfectly fine and clean.

Nice and lively

Lost in the middle of nowhere (don't go thinking the beaches of Normandy are nearby, you will be disappointed), this leisure park offers plenty of activities on site. Swimming pool, sports, evening events for teens, golf, horseback riding, ponies, spa... for 2 or 3 days, it is perfect. For a longer stay, I still recommend coming by car so you can get out a bit.

Not very customer friendly

Nice facilities, but it is a factory for making you open your checkbook. It stays fun for families with young kids who can spend the whole day in the pool without getting bored. For everyone else, you run the risk of going in circles pretty quickly, unless you pay to try something else. Also, if you tease the staff about that, they get offended. Are there some truths that make them sensitive?

Great memories

Relax with family or friends for a weekend. You have everything on site, the accommodations, the tropical pool, the shops, restaurants, and entertainment. It can get pricey if you want to try everything, but just the pool and the walks around the grounds are enough to help you unwind. If you are coming by car, you can bring your bikes.

Young and friendly vibe

Center Parcs in Normandy... Memories, memories!

During the summer vacation right after I graduated high school (that was a few years ago now :( ), I went to spend a short week at Center Parcs in Normandy. With 5 friends, we rented a cottage for 6 people. To save some money (we were high schoolers at the time!), we brought our own food. I have good memories of it: comfortable lodging, pretty spacious, and fully equipped. The water park is really nice and well heated (something to try in the winter?). There were also activities, parties, and so on... I was pleasantly surprised by the vibe: it was younger than I expected. Just a heads up, buying things on site (there was a sort of supermarket) is pretty expensive... Try to plan ahead when you pack your bags ;)
