Tucked deep into a massive forest in northeastern Belgium, you would hardly believe that Center Parc Erperheide and its charming square brick cottages are actually just a few miles from major cities like Maastricht (27 miles away). Even better, the property and its vast array of activities are designed so you can completely unplug from the real world.
Activities:
If you have trouble making up your mind, you will have your hands full with no fewer than 80 activities to choose from for all ages. Adults can try their hand at the ropes course, volleyball, badminton, canoeing, zip-lining, or the latest addition: Padel (a hybrid of various racket sports). As for the kids, in addition to the standard creative workshops, BALUBA, the farm, and trampolines, a true pony universe awaits with rides and grooming sessions. For a water break, Aqua Mundo is the place to be with its slides, lazy and whitewater rivers, wave pool, and an incredible underwater fishing village where you can swim alongside exotic fish in a large saltwater basin.

The property sets records here as well with a highly diverse range of housing, from classic cottages in comfort, premium, and VIP tiers that have been fully renovated, to apartments or cottages for guests with limited mobility. Do not miss the unique accommodations, with your choice of the Forest Animal cottage featuring themed interiors, or the Pony cottage located next to the stables where you can have your very own pony for the duration of your stay. Note that all of them come with all the necessary amenities for your vacation.

Everything here is designed to keep you out of the kitchen. That starts with 5 dining spots, including Frites Affairs to savor the fries that Belgium is famous for. Also worth noting is the incredible delivery service where you can have groceries, breakfast, pizza, or a pierrade (tabletop grill) meal delivered right to your door with the special equipment provided. If you prefer to cook yourself, there is a supermarket on site for the more ambitious guests.

Not bad, but not exceptional either. We wouldn't have made the trip just for this place. On the other hand, on the way back from an exhausting trip to Germany, it was a good spot to rest and relax.
