A very unique place in Mexico City, a colonial-era castle built on a hill surrounded by a lush green garden, where a calming atmosphere reigns, and it feels so good! There are pretty views of the city from the castle terrace, and you can visit part of its interior. It is interesting, and you learn quite a bit about Mexican history, including the fact that the country was administered by France for a few years!

Not the whole interior is open to the public, and you have to take a guided tour (at least, that is what I understood). You cannot just wander around as you please, but it is still very informative. I lucked out with a passionate guide who really knew how to share their love for history and the little stories that make up history.

The room was relatively small (I think there are larger ones, but they cost more), but it was clean and comfortable. There is a spa area, which is also a bit small, but I didn't run into too many people there, so it was great for relaxing. My boyfriend and I booked a massage there, which was a bit pricey, but very relaxing. The breakfast is decent, without any unnecessary frills.

I went there for a family day and it was top notch. Activities for the kids: carousel, fun races, pony rides... A good number of them are free. There were also real horse races, and seeing them in person is much more interesting than on TV. Finally, there is a pretty view of the Bois de Boulogne, and even the skyscrapers of La Défense.

Don't expect to find the classic castle you see just about everywhere in Europe. The architecture, the colors, and the shapes of this palace will surprise you. The setting, up high, is very pretty, with a panoramic view of the surrounding area.

Brand new, right at the doorstep of Paris and Disneyland, and surrounded by lakes and nature. I thought it was awesome to have this place so close. I have been to others in France and Belgium, and Villages Nature is my favorite.

A little far compared to the other hotels at the Disney resort (I am talking about a few hundred meters, it's still manageable), but a very beautiful hotel with a nice building, comfortable and spacious rooms, staff who take great care of you, and an excellent breakfast buffet.

I haven't traveled all over Sardinia, which is huge, but on the southeast coast, the beaches at Costa Rei are my favorites. It is a succession of sandy beaches interspersed with rocks. The further north you go, the fewer people there are.

With the pool closed for health reasons, it was a bit sad. It is still one of the only free activities that everyone likes. As a consolation prize, we were loaned 2 bikes for free. Not bad, but I would have loved to be able to relax in a tropical pool in the middle of winter.

A city full of history with buildings and monuments dating back several centuries. But it is also a very lively city where you can go out, party, and treat yourself to great restaurant meals without spending too much. You will love getting lost in the little alleyways of the old center, around the Dom Luis Bridge.

The estate is visually very well designed, between the Chateau, the reflecting pools, the royal stables, and the large garden. Inside the chateau, you can see paintings depicting historical moments and figures from France. A different way to brush up on your history. It is also possible to sit on a terrace and enjoy a dessert with real Chantilly cream. The garden is superb, with different themes, and some animals at the far end.
