We wanted to go on a cruise from Marseille without really knowing which itinerary to choose to enjoy the sun, the sea, and do a bit of sightseeing. We had a pretty tight budget. We ended up with an advisor, Mathilde, who took the time to explain everything so we could understand and was still able to guide us toward 3 options. I liked that she took the time because we were really uninformed. I also liked that she guided us through a selection of offers with the essential points to keep in mind to tell them apart. In the end, we had a superb cruise that matched what we wanted, with lots of great memories. And it wasn't that expensive!

I worked for a few months at a company that used Fairjungle for business travel. It was super practical. Employees had to book their own flights, trains, and hotels through the platform. Compared to other companies where we had to fend for ourselves across a bunch of different sites and then chase down all the receipts to get expense reports reimbursed, it’s a huge time saver to manage everything through one tool. As for the prices, I can’t really say, as I didn’t bother comparing them with other agencies.

I was told the Château de Chantilly was a lesser-known but just as grand alternative to Versailles. You know, like an insider secret. So, yes, the Château is beautiful, with lovely rooms to walk through. Same goes for the gardens, where you can even spot a few rare animals like kangaroos. But let's not exaggerate. If you only visit one castle around Paris, start with Versailles. It is bigger, flashier, more impressive, and even more bucolic with the Trianon.

Absolutely stunning beach, but often crowded. Parking costs money (a fee for the car, up to €10, but also for passengers), however, the same ticket allows you to visit other nearby beaches during the same day. Access is via a rather rugged path, so be careful if you have a lot of gear to carry! Restrooms are available, but they cost money to use. Two snack bars offer food on site, but they are a bit pricey. Bring your own picnic to eat there. Despite all these drawbacks, this beach is worth visiting at least once.

Choose a day when the weather is nice to go up to the observation deck. The view is truly magnificent and spectacular with a super long range. Some tips: - The entrance is hidden in the basement of the Sky hotel, it took me a while to find it! - Minors are not allowed in the Sky Bar, good to know if you are coming with children. They are welcome at the Orbit restaurant, but the prices are not the same, and you need a reservation most of the time...

Located in Retiro Park, this is a very pretty structure made of metal rods and glass panels. Inside, the art exhibits are enhanced by the light streaming through the glass vault. It seems to me that the works come from the Reina Sofia Museum.

Beautiful building with elegant architecture, which owes its name to its architect. Inside, you will find small contemporary art exhibits. It is not very big, but it has free admission and is located in a lovely park!

I did not enjoy my short time in Tana. Walking in the streets is not pleasant, between the filth, the dust, the pollution, the staring from men toward women, and the chaotic and dangerous traffic (forget about crosswalks giving pedestrians the right of way). Leave the capital quickly to enjoy the natural treasures of Madagascar.

Between July and September, humpback whales use the channel that separates Sainte Marie and Madagascar for their migration. With some luck, you can see them right from the coast. There are also boat excursions that let you get close to them without disturbing them. Seeing these huge mammals swim is impressive! An unforgettable memory.

I was surprised by the ultra festive atmosphere you find in this Costa Brava seaside town during the summer. I admit I knew about the reputation of Ibiza, but not that of Lloret de Mar. So, lots of tourists, parties every night, bars and nightclubs for every taste, foam parties... Why not, but you have to know that before you come!

Turquoise water, small cliffs with a castle overlooking them, and a few reefs where snorkelers can spot some things. A very pretty setting for swimming or relaxing. Try to come early in the morning, there are fewer people.

Faro is kind of like the French Riviera of Portugal, but way less stuffy. The water of the Mediterranean Sea is warmer here than on the Atlantic coast. The nights are lively but laid back, so no need to spend hours getting ready just because you are afraid of getting turned away at the door. The prices for lodging, eating out, and going out are reasonable.
