I am not sure if you can call it a coral reef for this beach, but in any case, right at the edge, you have access to a reef bathed in calm, crystal clear, warm water, where you can easily see a wide variety of fish and underwater animals. Just remember to bring water shoes.

Museum spread across several buildings that includes objects dating back to antiquity, classic and Renaissance works of art, and even some modern pieces. It is a mix that is curiously not as confusing as it sounds!

I had already seen Roman amphitheaters or arenas before, in Nimes for example. The one in Rome impressed me with its size. And I had a strange thought: were there really that many people who wanted to see gladiators kill each other? A bit sad...

I came for the Zoo de Beauval, and I had the happy surprise of discovering a village full of charm. The area around the castle and the banks of the Cher have a little medieval village vibe that is worth a quick stroll. You can also find some good little restaurants that offer local cuisine for a reasonable price (even though, in my opinion, the influx of visitors from Beauval has driven prices up).

Huge structure where one day won't be enough to see everything, and honestly, you have to pick and choose because not all the sections, palaces, and buildings are equally interesting. Do your research beforehand on what you want to see! For my part, I really liked the Palace of Heavenly Purity for example.

Thanks to its innovative architecture, photos of this museum have gone around the world. So, I was expecting something exceptional to see inside. Well, it is pretty interesting, especially if you like pop art, but for me, it was just okay.

This old military fortress overlooks the city of Salzburg and offers amazing views of the city and the surrounding region. The funicular ride up is spectacular. You can walk up, but it is pretty steep. To escape the crowds a bit, you can walk back down on the other side toward the park. It is very pleasant. Inside the castle itself, there are different things to see, with some explanations (in German or English) that teach you quite a bit about Austrian history. But there is not all that much to see. You can eat on site at a restaurant, or just bring your own picnic.

I have stayed in London several times without knowing you can visit the Houses of Parliament. Actually, you can, and I recommend it :) Not everything is open to the public, but you can still easily spend half a day there. If you can treat yourself to a guided tour (at the very least, get the audio guide!), go for it, because besides being impressive in its size and elegance, the palace is packed with historical information and anecdotes.

You won't find an oversized palace here that impresses you with its sheer scale. On the other hand, whether it's the gardens or the exterior and interior decor, it's just beautiful and full of details that show a lot of taste and effort.

Depending on your schedule, you might not always find a seat for a concert that interests you. No matter, take the time to do at least one guided tour during the day. The place is magnificent, and the guide's anecdotes about Czech cultural and artistic life are interesting.
