I went on a trip to the Cyclades with TUI, and in terms of organization everything went very well. The one little thing that bothered me is that for the sightseeing and activities, everything was done in a pretty large group, clearly following the same itinerary as thousands of other tourists. I would have liked it if we were offered a bit more freedom to personalize the experience more.

Evaneos put me in touch with a local professional who organized a completely personalized trip to Brazil for me. I had several exchanges with this professional, who really knew how to give advice while listening to what was truly important to me. In the end, it was a bit pricey, but a truly unforgettable experience. In conclusion, if your goal is to have a trip that is uniquely yours, off the beaten path, but guided by local experts to avoid any nasty surprises, Evaneos is for you. If you just want a quick look at the main tourist spots, you will find cheaper options with a traditional agency. If you want total adventure, left to your own devices, and at your own risk, head out without a…

Really lovely spot where you are welcomed with kindness. Saint Lazare is right next door (offering trains to La Defense, the Palace of Versailles, and the RER A to the Chateau de Saint Germain en Laye), and numerous metro lines let you get to every neighborhood in Paris in just a few minutes. The room decor is very well chosen. Breakfast is good and hearty. However, the breakfast room is a bit small, and you might feel a bit cramped during rush hour.

The visit to the Île Vierge is interesting in itself. The island is easily accessible by boat from the mainland (the crossing takes about ten minutes). You will find relatively well-preserved nature there, which is very popular with birds. Climbing to the top of the lighthouse is arguably the highlight of the visit. The guide shares plenty of anecdotes about the local history and lots of info about what you are seeing. The view from the watchroom is wonderful. You are nearly 100m up, and you are surrounded by the Brittany coast in all its splendor. For your info, it is possible to stay on-site in a gite.

From the moment we arrived, we received a warm welcome from the friendly and attentive staff. They made sure I had all the necessary information to fully enjoy my stay. Check-in was quick and efficient. The villas are spacious, modern, clean, and well-equipped. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own meals (make sure to bring your own groceries, of course). The bedding was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a busy day. One of the highlights of Sunparks Kempense Meren is the water park. The facilities are top notch, with a variety of slides, pools, and water games for all ages. I spent hours having fun in the water with my kids. There were also plenty of other…

Great initiative
Relatively new in a freshly renovated neighborhood, it is an architectural success and the collections are fun to discover.

I was invited for a weekend at this resort without much hope, and just as I expected, I felt completely out of place. Everything is designed (and priced) for the international jet set. At times, I almost felt like I had to apologize for just being a normal person.
Breathtaking
Breathtaking views and walks. A truly different experience from the usual archaeological tours.

Opened in 2022, this southern resort is brand new and beautiful. The comfort cottage I stayed in was very well laid out and decorated. You feel right at home, with enough space to fit 4 people without feeling cramped. The accommodations aren't all packed together, but grouped in small clusters, which is also really nice. The water park is just fabulous. As for the small things to improve: the organization. A few little spots of dust in the bungalow when we arrived. A lot of waiting at the restaurant and staff who didn't necessarily know how to answer our questions. The organization is still in the trial phase.
Good home base for enjoying Disney
Hotel is only rated 2 stars but it is perfectly acceptable for enjoying busy days at Disney.

This science museum really focuses on interactions, allowing kids and adults alike to understand the principles of science, technology, energy, and the human body. As long as you speak English or Dutch, the kids should love it. On the roof, there is a terrace with a few exhibits about energy and a restaurant with an amazing view of Amsterdam.
Classic and comprehensive
One of the biggest art museums in Amsterdam and the Netherlands. Very complete collections of paintings where, of course, the Dutch school is heavily represented.

North of the Serenissima, but in a totally different spirit, this national park welcomes you for some hiking in the heart of nature, between mountains (the Dolomites), lakes, streams, forests, cows, and marmots. For my part, I did a loop around a lake, a half day for about thirty euros, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Not too difficult, and not too crowded when we were there in April. Pretty views, and we spotted marmots several times!

After reading The Diary of Anne Frank, visiting the house where the teenager hid with her family is sure to move you. Knowing the tragic fate of the young girl, who was arrested, deported, and then died in a concentration camp: never again. Remember this when there are elections. Vote, and vote well, against hate.

Bordered by the Doubs gorges at the French border and covered by the Jura forests and pastures, the Doubs Regional Natural Park is worth a visit. The area is not completely wild, as there are quaint little villages, winding back roads, and farms. It is hilly, which offers lovely views, without being rugged like high mountain parks can be. In short, it is pretty easy to get around even if you are not a seasoned athlete. Anyone can find pleasant hiking trails. A few small streams and little waterfalls add to the experience, so it is up to you to find them :)

We made a little detour to this town almost by accident. We were surprised by the richness of its heritage. The watchmaking museum reconstructs the history of the master watchmakers who settled in the region and will teach you a lot about the techniques that go into how our dear little watches and clocks actually work. La Maison Blanche, with its very unique architecture, is a creation of Le Corbusier, who was also from the area. The town itself is full of charm, and it is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The region is very beautiful. To the north, the Parc Naturel du Doubs is splendid and easily accessible (it is still just mid-altitude mountains).

Lots of varied attractions. A long wait for the most popular ones. When you think about the magic of the Disney universe, it feels like they could have had a stronger sense of immersion in that magic. I say that, but I do not really have any ideas in mind for how to improve things.
A bit disappointed with breakfast
I found the breakfast a bit industrial, and I mentioned it to the staff, who took it the wrong way. Aside from that, the hotel is pretty good, with comfortable rooms and a cozy decor and atmosphere.
