A magical show

The exterior of the building and the main hall with its gilding, ceiling, and chandelier reminded me of the Vienna State Opera, just on a smaller scale and with more affordable prices. I booked a ticket for Verdi's Aida in advance and I loved the evening. The staff was very pleasant. The sets, the musicians, and the singers were sumptuous. I had a great view of the stage and the orchestra from the first balcony. Do not miss the outdoor terrace at the Opera, which offers a nice view of the city.

Beautiful architecture

As is often the case, the exterior and interior architecture of the Prague National Theatre is particularly polished. You can visit it outside of musical performances, and it is worth the trip.

Guided tour of the interior is a must-do

Depending on your schedule, you might not always find a seat for a concert that interests you. No matter, take the time to do at least one guided tour during the day. The place is magnificent, and the guide's anecdotes about Czech cultural and artistic life are interesting.

Gorgeous building and great performers

Just seeing this beautiful building is worth the trip. If you can catch a performance there, go for it. The interior is even more magnificent and the artists are very talented. Ticket prices are honestly affordable.
