La Paz is a city that surprises you from the moment you land. You really get the feeling of being transported somewhere else. The altitude hits you immediately at around 4,000 meters, and your eyes are quickly drawn to the mountains surrounding the city. La Paz is a big metropolis, lively, noisy, sometimes intense, but full of contrasts. You still see so many people wearing traditional clothing, which gives the whole place an authentic and unique charm. A totally refreshing experience.

I loved Lake Titicaca. The beauty of the scenery is striking, with deep blue waters and a peaceful surrounding countryside. The atmosphere there is remarkably calm, and meeting the local people makes the experience even more authentic. There are some great hikes to do around the lake, providing truly exceptional views. A place out of time, with dreamlike landscapes.

Agra Fort is a truly memorable visit. The site is vast, impressive, and very well preserved, with stunning views of the Taj Mahal in the distance. It is common to see monkeys on site, which adds charm to the visit. The monkeys live in and around the fort and move freely in certain areas, just like at many historical sites in India. They are not aggressive while you are there, but you have to stay alert, as with any wild animal in a tourist area. Overall, a very interesting visit, both cultural and lively, which really complements the discovery of Agra.

The Taj Mahal is an absolutely impressive site and the visit is clearly worth the trip. On the other hand, the ticket price seemed high to me considering the local cost of living. Once there, the beauty of the monument is a bit spoiled by the crowds, which sometimes make it hard to really enjoy the place. It is mostly in the gardens that you can best appreciate the visit, with the chance to admire the changing colors of the Taj as the light shifts. An unforgettable moment nonetheless.

The Leaning Tower of Pisa is impressive, even without going inside. From the outside, you really wonder how it is still standing. The site is very photogenic, even if there are almost always a lot of people around. It is worth seeing if you are in the area, but it is not necessarily a must-see on its own. I much prefer an extended visit to Florence, which is full of charm and cultural riches.

Puerto del Rosario is a beach town that mostly serves as an ideal starting point to explore the island. There are some beautiful beaches here, often windy, which makes it a perfect spot for water sports. As for me, I chose to bike around Fuerteventura, and I have some memorable memories from that week, with stunning landscapes and really beautiful images stuck in my head.

Teide National Park left me with such a memorable experience. The site is simply exceptional, with volcanic landscapes that give off an almost lunar vibe. The hikes allow you to fully immerse yourself in this unique and spectacular scenery. Even the access road alone is impressive. A truly grandiose place, where you are guaranteed to leave with some magnificent photos.

Puerto de la Cruz is a seaside resort that I really enjoyed. It is certainly touristy, but to my taste less overrated than Santa Cruz de Tenerife. We were able to go for some nice runs there and discover some pleasant trails near the city. In the city center, you find many bars and restaurants with a lively and friendly atmosphere. An ideal destination to combine relaxation, sports, and discovery.

Loro Parque is a really beautiful zoo to discover during a trip to the Canary Islands. I enjoyed the visit, with a wide variety of animals to observe. There are, in particular, the impressive marine mammals (dolphins, orcas, sea lions), which are among the park's main attractions. Great shows are also offered. The park is well laid out, pleasant to walk through, and allows you to spend several hours on site. You can easily get there on foot from the center of Puerto de la Cruz, or opt for a free shuttle. A very nice visit, ideal for animal lovers...even if they are not in their natural environment.

The 25 de Abril Bridge is truly impressive, even without crossing it. I couldn't take my bike across since it is actually off limits to cyclists (and even pedestrians), which makes sense given the traffic and its massive scale. I just settled for admiring it from the banks of the Tagus, and the sight is well worth the trip. Between its length, its height, and its majestic look, it really defines the landscape. A must-see, even if you don't cross it.

Pastéis de Belém are a must when visiting Lisbon. You can find them all over the city, and you definitely have to try them at least once. They are good and pleasant to eat, even if I didn't find them exceptional. Try them mainly to discover this iconic specialty so you can talk about it afterwards.

Belém Tower is a must when visiting Lisbon. I didn't have the chance to go inside, but the exterior is already well worth the trip. The monument is magnificent, especially right by the water. I particularly enjoyed going there at the end of the day, with the beautiful light. Ideal for a pleasant walk. A must-see

The Port of Nice is a really pleasant place to walk around, even if it is always crowded. I really loved strolling along the docks, admiring the luxury yachts and the lively vibe of the neighborhood. You can also see the ferries leaving for Corsica. The area is nice for a walk, with pretty views and a typically Nice atmosphere. By continuing toward the Promenade des Anglais, you get to enjoy the seaside even more. A lively spot...

Terres d'Aventure: I only booked with this agency once, a few years ago, for a trek in the Moroccan desert. The trip was extremely well organized, and everything was perfectly managed. The itineraries, guide, group, meals, and campsites were all impeccable. My luggage did not arrive in time for the departure (which was not the agency's fault), but the guide was especially thoughtful. He took charge and accompanied me to the souks so I could buy everything I needed for the week. Top notch!

In my opinion, Emirates is one of the best airlines out there. I particularly appreciate the comfort on board, the impeccable cleanliness, the quality of the meals, as well as the friendliness of the staff. Snacks are also handed out during the night, which are good and tasty. It makes a real difference compared to other airlines. Everything is designed to make the trip pleasant. An excellent option, especially for long-haul flights.

easyJet is a go-to airline in France for traveling on a budget. I have flown with them three times without ever running into a delay, which is much appreciated. Just be careful to double check your luggage size before boarding. On board, the service is standard for a low cost carrier: everything costs extra, but the tickets can be a great deal depending on the time of year and the destination.

The Roses beach on the Costa Brava is a typical beach for the region. Off-season, it is really pleasant and lets you enjoy the scenery and a nice walk along the sea, even if there is a lot of concrete and apartment buildings in the surrounding area. On the other hand, in peak season, the beach is very crowded and clearly less pleasant.

I discovered Casa Batlló during my stay in Barcelona and I was pretty surprised by its architecture. Without being totally won over, I found the building very original, especially with its colorful facade and its atypical shapes inspired by nature. It is Gaudi without a doubt! A truly unique style that doesn't leave you indifferent. Worth seeing to form your own opinion.

I visited the Picasso Museum in Barcelona, located not far from the Ramblas. The price for standard admission is reasonable, and the visit takes about 1 hour to 1.5 hours. I really loved discovering the works, especially Picasso's early periods as well as the series based on "Las Meninas." The atmosphere of the museum, housed in beautiful old buildings, makes the visit even more enjoyable.

I discovered Casa Milà during my trip to Barcelona in 2016, and I was impressed by this work of Gaudí. The building is truly atypical, with its wavy shapes and stone facade that gives an impression of movement. Even seen from the outside, it immediately catches the eye. It is a beautiful example of the modernist architecture that makes the city so unique.
