This huge lake is home to a large colony of lesser flamingos and provides food and water for thousands of animals. Sitting right at the foot of the volcano, it offers a wonderful natural setting for some amazing excursions and safaris. You definitely need to do this with a guide, as the region is still very wild.

This water park (open only in the summer) is a different way to enjoy the sun. You can either treat yourself to some thrills by sliding down the slides (for kids or adults), or just relax while floating in an inner tube along the lazy river.

In a magnificent building worthy of the most beautiful imperial palaces in Austria, there are several floors to visit covering a wide variety of eras. On the menu: numerous masterpieces by Austrian painters like Klimt or Schiele.

Like the name suggests, this isn't an art museum where you go to see pretty things. It's more of a place where you can understand a lot about the pre-Hispanic past of the American continent. For example, that's where I discovered that American "Indians" actually descend from Mongol and Asian tribes who crossed the Bering Strait thousands of years ago... Christopher Columbus didn't discover anything!

Not far from the "city," you completely forget the proximity of the concrete and asphalt thanks to the pine forest that surrounds the beach. Otherwise, what can I say, fine sand, crystal clear water offering different shades of turquoise, swimming there is a real treat.

Prehistoric site with several buildings, which is supposedly the equivalent of a fortified nuragic village. Thanks to the guide (in English or Italian), you learn a lot about the construction and discovery of these structures, as well as the ancient history of Sardinia. The ticket also includes admission to the town museum, which is interesting, even if it is less spectacular. The visit lasts a little less than an hour.

In a somewhat remote spot in the heart of the Dutch countryside, this stay was a nice surprise. The staff was super welcoming, the pools were pretty impressive, and even though the wait for the slides was long, the kids loved the farm. In short, we had a blast. The points to improve (to keep things positive): - Create more slides to vary the experience and reduce the lines - Provide softer bedding - Please rethink the restaurant food! For example, we are not far from Belgium, but the fries are very mediocre :(
