In a region where luxury hotels tend to claim their own slice of the coastline, I was expecting to find a wild beach. It is certainly beautiful, but the human presence is still very visible, with bars and restaurants.

Like the Jedi Master says, it is a bit of a walk from Zoo de Beauval (by car, the trip only takes a few minutes). I really like the safari vibe in this hotel. The kids feel like they are actually there, so I would definitely recommend it for families.

I never know if it is actually an advantage to go through an intermediary. They negotiate the rates and terms for us, but at the same time, they have to make a profit somehow. The conclusion I have reached with DiscoverCars is that the rates I found are pretty good for Canada.

Used them to go to Nepal, with a layover in Dubai. Service was really top notch, good meals, plane was clean and comfortable. Price wasn't the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. I recommend them for long flights to Asia.

I am not at the level to climb to the summit, and I did not even try. On the other hand, with good preparation, if you are in shape, you can definitely do the Base Camp trek. It is more than enough to be totally blown away and come back wiped out after about ten days of climbing and descending. But what an experience! I recommend it!
