Milan is without a doubt the city of Italian-style design: its majestic shopping galleries, its opera house, its castle, its cathedral, its fashion showrooms... Maybe less historical than other Italian cities like Rome, but it will surely seduce fashion and design lovers.
Nice but not very big
Heated indoor pool with slides, wave pool, etc. We had fun, but I find it a bit small compared to other Center Parcs pools.
Stunning view
Very beautiful waterfall in a lovely setting. Must see if you are passing through Iceland.
Evening by the fireplace
Days filled with time in the pool, walks by the lake, or out on the champagne trail, followed by evenings by the fireplace playing cards. Just a perfect vacation :)

With its 67,000 seats and full roof, the new Vélodrome has really gotten a serious makeover. Less drafty, more resonance for the atmosphere... One of the most impressive structures in Marseille, a true symbol of the city and a cathedral of football! Strangely, it should have boosted the resident club, OM, but not that much...
Perfect for family reunions
For a family reunion, we were looking for a place that could sleep about fifteen people. We chose this Center Parc. We had a blast!
Nice for a weekend
Small seaside town with a bit of historical heritage. It is a pleasure to visit the old town. We saw it all in one weekend, though.

The hamlet feels a bit like a dorm with few windows facing the outside, and the shops and restaurants are all packed into one covered gallery. Out on the slopes, there are a lot of beginners who slow down or even stop, sometimes even on runs that aren't green, which is borderline dangerous. On the plus side, the resort is easy to get to, the staff are welcoming, and there is snow quite often along with some really beautiful sunshine.

A small town in Alsace that you don't hear much about, and yet, if you are passing through the region in winter, I highly recommend visiting the city: a small river, picturesque houses, and squares and streets decorated for the Christmas market. A very beautiful trip to take as a couple or with the family.

On one side, a deep valley where a river winds, surrounded by steep rice terraces. On the other, a slightly flatter plateau where the terraces spread out in various curves of color. Grand and spectacular landscapes, and athletic hiking trails for those who are interested.

For those visiting Tuscany, the cradle of the Renaissance, to see art, architecture, and culture, Pisa is a must, just like Florence. Smaller than the latter, Pisa is still worth the trip. The square where the Leaning Tower of Pisa is located is magnificent, as are the churches and the old palaces. Partygoers might find that the city is a bit too quiet, though.
A real encounter with Casamance

Kafountine isn't at the end of the world, there are a few tourists, and even some expats living there in a hippie-style way. Even so, it has nothing to do with Cap Skirring. I really felt like I was seeing the real Casamance, just as it is and as its people are. Great memory
A guaranteed culture shock

It is pretty hard to form an opinion about Dakar. Outside of the hotel and the expat neighborhood, it is recommended to be accompanied by a guide to visit the city, which is not cool. Is it because of the insecurity, the scams, or to hide the poverty? From what I could see, the Senegalese people are very welcoming, and the city is very lively, hectic, and vibrant. Not always very clean, and yes, there is poverty.

A few hundred years old, Saint Louis reminds me of those Latin American cities that knew how to preserve and enhance their architecture and former colonial presence to turn it into a tourist asset. This heritage is enriched by Senegalese culture and a real sense of hospitality. Exploring the old town, on the central island, is very interesting. Around the city, I recommend the Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary.
Lots of birds to see
Millions of birds to see, especially in winter during the migrations, with hundreds of different species. But that is not all: mammals, crocodiles, amphibians, fish... Nature lovers will be thrilled.
Not much to see besides the beach

Not too far from Dakar, the capital, Saly and the Petite Côte are supposed to be the beach resort destination of Senegal. The reality is that most of the beaches are eaten away by erosion and are dirty. And in the city itself, there is not much to see. Disappointed.

At Capo Vaticano, you have the choice between large white sand beaches with lounge chairs, or slightly wilder and more isolated coves tucked between the cliffs. In any case, you will be able to swim in warm, turquoise water. If you opt for the coves, remember to bring your mask and snorkel, you will see plenty of fish.
A psychedelic world to discover

If you like Dali, I don't have to convince you to visit his museum. If you don't know him, go check it out for yourself. He is truly an artist unlike any other, whether in his paintings or his sculptures. There are always details that reveal themselves little by little.

Very varied landscapes, with the coast around Cadaques (a charming village, by the way), a lighthouse converted into a museum, and a hilly, mountainous backcountry. The scent of the trees, pines, and flowers follows you everywhere. Beautiful hike.
