About Merveilles du Monde
M.E.R.V.E.I.L.L.E.S. du Monde (Mouvement d'Eveil, de Réflexion, de Veille et d'Initiatives Locales pour un Laboratoire d'Economie Solidaire) is an international network of associations working to fight poverty and advance sustainable development. It coordinates and represents the interests of numerous associations currently based in Europe and Africa. To date, 11 French-speaking and English-speaking African countries are represented within the network. The international headquarters is located in France.
The M.E.R.V.E.I.L.L.E.S. du Monde Coordination has a humanitarian character. Its mission is to provide emergency assistance to populations in situations of distress or extreme poverty wherever it operates around the world.
The Movement is committed to building its work around the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and their 169 sub-targets across all the fields it covers, and to actively contributing to the implementation and advancement of actions toward achieving them before 2030.
