Mainly because of the bombings during World War II, a lot of the old heritage has disappeared from the British capital. The Tower of London, which is not really a single tower despite what the name suggests, is an old fortress that is several centuries old and perfectly preserved. You will find different buildings there with explanations about the history of the city. The highlight of the show is the Crown Jewels. Be careful, it gets crowded!

Along a path marked by a few makeshift lights, it is possible to climb Adam's Peak at night. Be careful, and prepare yourself for a 3 hour climb that is fairly athletic, with some parts that are a bit difficult at times, where you will need to stay focused to watch your step with a flashlight. The summit is crowded, but seeing the sun rise over the region, after such an effort, is a real joy. An experience worth having.

Cassis is a small town known for its calanques. It is definitely worth stopping here for a while. Its small fishing and pleasure boat harbor is full of charm. You can, for example, find a little terrace in the area and enjoy the scenery while digging into some good Provençal dishes. Plus, in some cases, you can start your hikes into the Calanques right from the parking lots in Cassis.

The building itself is a New York icon, even if it is no longer the tallest skyscraper in the Big Apple. However, I invite you to go up to its observation deck at the top. The view of Manhattan, its skyscrapers, its grid-pattern streets, and Central Park is breathtaking.

Having visited other Center Parcs, I think this one really needs to renovate its water park. It is starting to feel a bit old, and not very clean. In the more recent ones, the immersion in a natural environment is more realistic. Other bad experiences, we sometimes felt like we were bothering some of the employees with our requests. Maybe because we did not speak Flemish? Fortunately, most of the staff were smiling and friendly! And besides, there were a lot of French people and French speakers, so no need to panic. The cottages, which have the advantage of not being packed together, surround a lake that you can quietly observe from the terrace of your bungalow. The view is relaxing. As for getting some exercise, you have a choice between many activities for an extra fee, like biking or windsurfing, but there is also the Aqua Mundo which is free for residents. A few points to improve, though. Depending on your accommodation, you might find yourself a few dozen minutes away from the parking lot. The value for money at the restaurants is very average. And finally, I would have liked the bathroom to be completely clean. Also, if you want cleaning done during your stay, you have to pay a supplement.
