Krakow is a city filled with history and pain. Everything in the city shows it and makes you feel it. It is a pretty city, with its beautiful castle and colorful narrow streets, but you see the scars of war and fascism everywhere. If you go to Krakow, take a day to visit the Auschwitz camps. You will not have a good day, and it will probably even ruin your next day, but it is such an important, striking visit that I did not regret it, quite the opposite.

I didn't fall in love with Toronto. People often call it "the little New York" because the city has a huge business district with tall glass skyscrapers, which gives it a bit of a NY vibe. But personally, I didn't find Toronto to be a beautiful city that you absolutely have to see. People say it's a very lively city where people are happy, though... maybe I'll give it another try sometime.

You have to visit Quebec at least once in your life. Not only are the people adorable, but the old town is also absolutely magnificent!! It is a real pleasure to stroll through these typical little streets, with their shops and cute signs. The most photographed hotel in the world overlooks it all, it is breathtaking!

Ottawa, that little hill, is honestly a sight to behold!! Its parliament buildings are very beautiful, and the architecture is a must-see if you like that kind of thing. This city is different from the other cities around here. It is like a little world of its own, overlooking everything else. Don't miss the Museum of History right next door, a very beautiful museum that traces the history of Canadian colonization.

After the hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls and its casino city, Niagara On The Lake feels like a breath of fresh air. It is a peaceful little town with very beautiful houses. A lovely, very green park right by the massive lake makes the place even nicer. Plus, it is full of squirrels that are seriously not shy at all!!

I only spent a short time in Los Angeles. I highly recommend taking a trip to the Mexican neighborhood El Pueblo, it is very pretty. Then, do not miss the beaches at Santa Monica and Venice Beach. Santa Monica is more family-friendly, with its amusement park. Venice Beach is THE cool beach in the area. Street art, tattoo artists, medical marijuana vendors... A cool, athletic vibe where people bring their own speakers and music fills the place. Some people let loose and dance, others skate, play basketball, or do graffiti... A great atmosphere to discover!

Las Vegas, contrary to popular belief, is not just poker and slot machines. Las Vegas is worth visiting. Yes, everything is bling and over the top, but you have to let go and just go with the flow, and you will have an exceptional time! Take the time to visit the hotels. When you walk in, you will always see the casino. But behind the casino, the hotels hide their treasures. In the Bellagio, a magnificent greenhouse with real flowers, in the Flamingo a pond with koi and flamingos, in the Caesars Palace a reconstruction of Rome, in the Venetian dozens of canals and gondolas. In short, take the time to do your research before you go so you do not miss the many treasures of this incredible city…

Dublin is a city that stands apart in Ireland, not really representative of the rest of the country because it has its own vibe and is very cosmopolitan. In any case, from my point of view, it is impossible not to love it! Obviously, to start off, there is Temple Bar, the pub district, with its amazing atmosphere at nightfall. The pubs come alive with lots of concerts and the beer flows freely. But Dublin is also about its parks, which are real green lungs in the city, its restaurants, notably The Church, a restaurant in an old church where you eat really well, and above all, the people who are so open and warm.

It would be a real shame to miss out on Carcassonne. This city is incomparable! Its many turrets and walls are in perfect condition and gorgeous. Inside, it is impossible not to fall under the spell of the city's narrow streets, with their many shops, restaurants, and cafes. It is a place I return to every year, and since I live an hour away, I never get tired of it!

I loved Brussels!!!! The Ilot Sacre neighborhood is packed with restaurants and bars, with a great vibe. The architecture, especially the magnificent Grand-Place, and the very pretty Marolles neighborhood to the south are not to be missed. Everything is nice in Brussels: the charming streets, the bars tucked away in alleyways called estaminets, the hundreds of different beers, the food, and especially the locals who make the atmosphere so friendly.

The Sacré-Cœur is the ultimate romantic emblem of Paris. It is true that the entire neighborhood, Montmartre, is perfect for romance. The basilica overlooks all of that from the top of its hill. At its base, you can not only admire its beautiful, rounded architecture, but also a lovely view over all of Paris. The interior of the building is splendid, a real marvel where taking photos is forbidden. Definitely don't miss the chance to climb to the top, you will be able to get up close to the beautiful gargoyles and have an even more breathtaking view of the city!

Casa Batlló is my favorite house among those imagined by Antoni Gaudí. Its facade is open to many interpretations. For my part, I see it as bluish scales topped with masks. Others see the body of Barcelona's iconic salamander and skulls. For the visit, book online in advance if you can, and get the audio guide. The explanations about the architecture, both inside and out, are very interesting.

For a Ferris wheel ride, the price might seem steep, but you will see, once you are inside, you won't regret a thing. The London Eye is equipped with large, enclosed cabins where you are not packed in like sardines. You have the space to stand up and walk around to enjoy the views without any issues. The cabins are air conditioned, so you are protected from the rain and wind while staying warm. They are equipped with an interactive tablet that lets you know which buildings you are looking at. Plus, the ride lasts about 30 minutes if I remember correctly, so you will really have time to savor it.

The Eiffel Tower, a national icon, is even more beautiful in person, and more impressive too. You really cannot imagine it being so tall, so huge, until you are standing right at its feet. For the visit, book your tickets online well in advance, and you will avoid hours of waiting in line. Once you are at the top, watch out if you get dizzy, because it is seriously very impressive!! But what a view! And the glass floor on the first level, which you can walk on, feels really strange... I think I was less afraid at the very top haha!

I love Notre-Dame! This cathedral has something unique, something special. Its gargoyles are unique and very beautiful, grimacing protectors of the site. Its famous rose window is sublime. But the interior surpasses everything, those huge pillars, those chandeliers, that atmosphere... If you go during mass, it is even more impressive I think, the place has a very special vibe.

The Fez medina is a can't miss spot in Northern Morocco. I was lucky enough to visit with a friend who is a native of Fez and acted as our guide, and thank goodness he was there because I would have easily gotten lost in that maze of alleyways. In any case, it is the most beautiful medina I have visited in this country. Everything there is just colors, scents, and smiles. Definitely do not miss the tanneries, as it is the local specialty and it is truly a beautiful place to see.

Moscow is a stunning city!!! It is like no other, everything there is impressive, massive, and rich. Red Square is breathtaking, and the Kremlin is another splendor entirely... Pack some good shoes because it is a very large city and there is a lot to see. In seven days, I was absolutely never bored! Even the subway stations are worth visiting because they are so beautiful, real museums for some of them.

Milan isn't exactly authentic Italy, but it is the fashion capital. Everything is luxury and splendor in this city! The Duomo, a famous cathedral with breathtaking architecture, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and its sublime glass roof that houses famous fashion designer boutiques, the castle, which is more typical... And not far from all of that, some pretty streets with a more authentically Italian feel, a canal that is so romantic for an evening stroll...

I visited Prague with my partner and it is truly a very cute city. With its buildings that are colorful yet still understated, it has a very pleasant and photogenic look. The river (the Vltava) that runs through it, the heights where the castle is perched, everything lends itself to romance in this city with a troubled past. The remnants are definitely there, including the Jewish Quarter which is also magnificent. Anyway, as you can tell, I loved my week spent there. It is a city where it is great to just wander around.

Berlin is a city that is hard to describe because everything is about the feeling you get. You feel good there, you feel right at home, you feel free... Berlin is a dynamic, cosmopolitan city where all styles mix together and where it is great to live, especially with those biergartens that are so pleasant. The historical side is obviously everywhere, and Berlin is very rich in that regard. It is an interesting city in so many ways, but it is hard to imagine until you have been there yourself... go for it!!
