On the Canadian side, Niagara Falls is impressive. You can admire it from different spots. For example, you can take a boat that brings you to the base of the falls or see them from a panoramic view at the top of the Skylon Tower. I was a little disappointed by the environment around the falls, which really makes you think of a theme park town with its casino and tourist activities.

My favorite theme park! The park is big and lets you try out so many attractions. Among my favorites: Le Tonnerre de Zeus is an absolute must-try! In my opinion, there are more attractions available for adults here than at its competitor, Disney. There are also shows for everyone throughout the day, like the one with the dolphins or the gladiators. The easiest way to get to the park is by car. A park worth visiting for anyone who loves the Gaulish universe.

The city provides access to the 1,000 Islands tourist site, but Rockport is still a better choice since it is closer to the points of interest. Brockville is a charming Canadian town where it is lovely to walk around. For example, you can take a quiet stroll along the harbor while admiring the sunset and then go have dinner at one of the restaurants near the docks. You can also walk around downtown and admire some beautiful buildings with lots of character. The city is pedestrian friendly and it is easy to get around.

Rockport is an ideal spot to go and admire the main islands that make up the well known "1,000 Islands" area for Canadians. You should choose Rockport over Kingston, which also allows access to part of the site but is much less interesting. We hopped on a ferry to tour the surrounding islands for an hour. Rockport lets you see the essential points of interest of the "1,000 Islands," like Boldt Castle for example, which is absolutely beautiful.

Theme park I visited again after some friends dragged me along. Unfortunately, rain showed up, but that didn't stop us from having a good laugh. There are rides for every taste and, above all, for every age. You easily go from one ride to the next while losing all track of time. Special mention to the stunt show, which really surprised me! You can easily spend two days in the park if you include the Studios section. The souvenir shops are fun to check out to stay in the vibe before leaving the park.

The Daiwa Roynet Hotel is a bit removed from the center of Osaka, but it offers a major advantage, which is very attractive pricing. We chose to save a little money on the room rate in exchange for a commute that was a few stations further from the city center. The hotel clientele is primarily made up of business travelers. That is why the rooms are on the small side. Our room had a small desk and a bathroom with a shower. Our room and the common areas of the hotel are very clean. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi access, which is super convenient. The hotel is quiet despite the shopping area nearby.

Room prices are affordable, especially compared to other hotels in the same neighborhood. For that price, you get a functional and clean room. As for the breakfast, it costs extra. There is also a cafeteria on the ground floor. As usual in Japan, the staff was very welcoming and very kind. For example, the staff offered to hold our bags between our check out and the time we left the city. Very nice! The big plus for Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto is its proximity to Kyoto Station, which is right across the street. You really can't do better than that!

The Es Saadi hotel feels like something straight out of the Arabian Nights. The traditional decor is stunning. Our room was an executive suite, and it measured about 860 square feet. The room was split into two parts, a bedroom area and a tea lounge area. The room had a balcony with a view of the garden. The bathroom offered a lovely bathtub and a shower. The hotel offered services like the spa, which we were lucky enough to try. Right next to the hotel, there is a casino and a nightclub. Great nighttime activities to check out!

The hotel is located two stations away from Kyoto Station. It is ideally situated since it is in the center of the main sights to see in the city. Our room was very spacious and offered a stunning view of Tō-ji Temple. The room also had a small balcony. The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel organized free cocktails every evening that we could enjoy on a patio. Like most Japanese hotels, we had privileged access to an area dedicated to hot baths for relaxing at the end of the day.

The hotel is located just a stone's throw from the famous Akihabara Electric Town district, where the activity is intense day and night. The room we rented wasn't spacious, but it was laid out efficiently! Every inch of the room was optimized (room for 2 people). The Japanese breakfast was hearty. For me, one of the highlights of this hotel is the Onsen area (hot baths), which is located outside on the roof of the hotel. What a treat to relax in a hot bath while listening to the hustle and bustle of the city! The hotel staff was very welcoming during our stay. The hotel was also very clean.

The park is near Tobermory, but you definitely need a car to get there. We spent the day along the park's trails. There are some really lovely walks to do depending on your fitness level. The routes alternate between scenery with lake views and trails in the woods. Two tips: remember to check the info before heading out because some hikes take all day! And also bring water bottles, which we unfortunately didn't do during our hike.

The main gateway to Manitoulin Island, Tobermory is a really beautiful village on the edge of Lake Huron. You can walk around the whole village pretty quickly, but the place offers some great activities. For example, you can enjoy some delicious fish and chips with a view of the lake. You can walk along the waterfront, soaking up the sun and eating an ice cream. I was lucky enough to have a delicious local fish dinner while watching the sunset. It was magical!

The hotel is ideally located in the city. It is close to the Night Market where the main action happens. Our room was spacious and included air conditioning and a fan. The bathroom was simple but functional. Breakfast was included in the room rate and served in the hotel restaurant. During our stay, the hotel opened a very pleasant pool. The hotel staff was very helpful and always ready to assist us or give us tips on places to visit in the city. The hotel also offers additional services at reasonable prices (transportation to the Angkor site, lunch, and dinner in the restaurant).

This provincial park is right in the middle of the forest. You definitely need a car to get there. The park has several ranger stations that allow you to head to a designated area for camping. Once you pay for access, you choose your campsite from the ones already marked out. Since it is a nature park, the camping is well regulated. There are various activities available like kayaking or fishing for game fish. I spent a weekend surrounded by nature with no cell service and it was such a great change of scenery!

A pretty little postcard of a town. The city is located not far from Niagara Falls, but there are surprisingly few tourists. This small town is classic Canada with its big houses and many green spaces. In the downtown area, there are a few nice restaurants that serve a variety of dishes. Just do not expect high-end gastronomy! You can also try some sweets and ice cream before heading out at the end of the day.

This park is a pleasant spot that totally lets you disconnect from the city activity. The park is big and allows athletes to do various outdoor activities (jogging, fishing, etc.). On nice summer days, you can also have a picnic in the areas set aside for that. It is not rare to run into a few animals like black squirrels or geese. I reconnected with nature and it feels so good!

I usually don't like shopping, but this huge mall is a great place to walk around or pick up a few things. The brands in the center regularly offer big discounts that are impossible to turn down! The shops and restaurants are spread out over two levels, and I spent many hours happily browsing through the many stores in the center.

The Rogers Centre is the stadium where all the big sporting events happen. It is located not far from the CN Tower. I was lucky enough to catch a baseball game, and the atmosphere was electric. If you have the chance to see a baseball game, it is an experience you have to do. It is really thrilling to think that you are taking part in an American style show. The stadium is easy to get to by public transit, and you can take a walk along Lake Ontario after a day full of excitement.
