In some Asian countries, like Thailand, it is honestly a huge hassle to book a train ticket at the counter or on local websites when you do not know the country or the language. I discovered this international site and it is super convenient.

Watching the animals, meeting the Maasai, the vast wild spaces... it doesn't take long to forget your daily life, your worries, and the routine. I went with Comptoir des Voyages. It might be a little pricey, but I have no complaints about the organization. For a once in a lifetime trip, it is worth going through the pros.

The name "castle" is misleading. It is actually an entire neighborhood surrounded by ramparts that has frozen in time. Cobblestone streets, old houses and palaces, a Gothic cathedral, artisans... A real journey into the Middle Ages.

When you think of Sicily, it is often the sun and beautiful beaches that come to mind. While visiting Palermo, I was surprised to discover a lively city with lots of shops and great places to eat, and above all, a multitude of charming monuments and historical buildings scattered throughout a maze of small alleyways where it is a pleasure to get lost. Don't hesitate to take a few days to discover the city!

I went there to celebrate a wedding. I was welcomed so well, and the people are lovely, without being over the top. The city of Bejaia, even though it is the regional capital, did not make much of an impression on me. On the other hand, the natural landscapes I was shown in the surrounding area are fantastic, whether it be the beaches or the mountains. One big disappointment, however, is the filth: trash, plastics, and empty bottles all along the roads that cut through the forests. What a waste.

Huge estate with various shows (historical reenactments, bird of prey training), and the castle itself is immense, with different sections and terraces that give you a different view of the facades full of decorations. A must-see.

Having enjoyed the historical novel series Fortune de France, I was curious to see this castle where the Duke of Guise was assassinated by the King of France. I will be honest, the exterior of the building is rather disappointing. The interior is more interesting, with furniture and decor worthy of a royal residence.
