There was a time when I dreamed of being a digital nomad. It was during that period that I imagined and created the first version of Avygeo (an anagram of voyage), with the desire to better prepare my own trips... and those of others. The nomadism didn't end up happening. Other, even more exciti…
It was during that period that I imagined and created the first version of Avygeo (an anagram of voyage), with the desire to better prepare my own trips... and those of others.
The nomadism didn't end up happening. Other, even more exciting projects took over, including a mini-me who is now in middle school :)
With my partner Éric, I then rethought Avygeo to make it what it is today: a participatory travel guide, based on lived experiences, sincere reviews, and sharing between travelers.
You come to Avygeo to find where to go and what to do.
You come back to tell what you really experienced, and to help other travelers make better choices.

The hotel is very well located, in the center of Tours, between the SNCF train station and the city hall. The view from the window of Boulevard Heurteloup and the city hall is actually quite nice. The old town is within walking distance, as are the banks of the Loire, and the Vinci, a concert hall where we had a reservation. The common areas are very elegant and the rooms are clean and welcoming. The prices are fair for the quality. A lovely, charming spot that is ideal for a romantic weekend in Tours.

This resort is pretty big. It takes a good ten minutes to walk from one end to the other (from the entrance to the beach). It is like a mini village where it is easy to spend a week relaxing without doing much of anything. With young children, it is really nice. If you want to move around a bit and see the region, it would probably be a shame to pay for all these all inclusive services without having the time to enjoy them. I really liked the meals (the buffets as well as the a la carte restaurants are good quality), the friendliness of the staff, the pool dedicated to kids (with games, slides, the big bucket of water that tips over...), the pools and rivers that run along the rooms or fol…

Let's start with what I liked the most: the layout of the property, where mini jungles, waterfalls, and ponds are recreated. You will come across rodents, squirrels, monkeys, turtles, iguanas, flamingos, herons, swans, ducks, peacocks, kingfishers, toucans, fish... Some animals like the turtles or toucans are in enclosures, while others roam semi-free in the hotel jungle. Next, the rooms are clean, the bedding is large and comfortable, and the shower is spacious. Pool: great, large with beach-style entry in some areas. Beach: white sand, warm and turquoise waters, but very crowded. By walking about ten minutes to the south, the beach becomes a bit wilder, bordered by the jungle. Dining:…
