We stayed at the Holiday Inn Town Lake, with an awesome view overlooking Lady Bird Lake. Great hotel and central location to everything. Just a bit of advice, please know that Austin is HOTTER than HOT in July and August!

There are tons of casinos for adult fun, but nothing compares to the Boardwalk and Atlantic City Beach when it comes to family fun. If you schedule your visit at the right time, you’ll enjoy the annual Soar & Shore Airshow, formerly named “Thunder Over the Boardwalk”. If you visit the Jersey shore, this is a must stop for the summer. The Steel Pier boardwalk is a great alternative to the beach and casinos.
