About this property

Aparthotel

All-suite Hilton hotel with an adjacent golf course, set in the residential Paradise Valley neighborhood

The location

The hotel sits on a corner in the residential neighborhood of Paradise Valley, in northeast Phoenix, right on the Scottsdale border. Stonecreek Golf Club is literally adjacent, and Paradise Valley Mall is just a short walk away. The area is quiet and very car-dependent, so without a vehicle, your options for getting around will be limited.

Old Town Scottsdale and Camelback Mountain are about 10 km to the southwest. Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is roughly 24 km away with no hotel shuttle available, meaning you will need to rely on a taxi, an Uber, or a rental car.

Rooms and comfort

Every room here is a two-room suite, featuring a living area separate from the bedroom. This layout really elevates your comfort level day to day, especially when you are staying for multiple nights. The living room typically includes a pull-out sofa, which comes in handy if you are traveling with family.

The suites are smoke-free and can be connected through adjoining rooms. Streaming services are available on the TVs, and cribs can be provided upon request.

Food and drink

Breakfast is included with your stay, featuring made-to-order eggs and hot dishes every morning, which makes a nice change from standard buffet spreads.

In the evening, a complimentary reception is hosted for guests with drinks and snacks. The hotel also features an on-site restaurant for other meals, and room service is available if you prefer to dine in your suite.

Services and extras

The outdoor pool and fitness center cover the essentials for wellness on-site. Pets are welcome, and drivers of electric vehicles will find charging stations in the parking lot.

For business travelers, meeting rooms and a business center are available. Check-in is handled via digital key.

Who it suits

This hotel fits a specific type of traveler well. It suits those wanting to stay within walking distance of the lively heart of Scottsdale less.

The pros

  • Families with children: two-room suites, cribs available, kids' menus, and an outdoor pool
  • Golfers: direct access to the Stonecreek Golf Club without needing a car
  • Pet owners: pets are welcome
  • Budget-conscious travelers: cooked-to-order breakfast and an evening reception included

The cons

  • Car-free travelers: the hotel is in an outlying area, and old town Scottsdale is about 10 km away
  • No airport shuttle: Sky Harbor is 15 miles away, making a taxi or car rental necessary
  • Travelers looking for nightlife or neighborhood restaurants within walking distance

Embassy Suites: A Delightful Stay in Scottsdale

What a delightful experience staying at this hotel! It was clean and very maintained, inside and out. The staff was exceptionally nice, which always makes a difference. Although we didn’t stay in it much, our room overlooked the pool, a golf course, and beautiful views of the mountains. We spent a lot of time in the pool, which was very much appreciated due to the extremely hot temperatures in Scottsdale. Towels are provided by the hotel. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool, but they need a few more umbrellas for coverage from the abusive heat of the sun. There is also a jacuzzi tub next to the pool. The hotel usually has a happy hour, where drinks and snacks are served. This is quite a nice treat for guests. But my favorite thing about this hotel is the breakfast. They have the best breakfast of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. Not only is there a continental grab and go breakfast, but they also have a free cooked-to-order breakfast where you can order almost any breakfast you can think of so you don’t have to settle for the ordinary waffles or powdered eggs found at other hotels. In my opinion, this is, by far, the best feature of the hotel. If I ever visit Scottsdale again, I would stay here just for the breakfast.
