Named after a French city because it was formerly French territory, New Orleans has a culture that is very different from the rest of the USA. Fans of jazz music and Cajun food will love it. Just be careful with how heavy the weather feels in the summer.

Seaside city that offers pretty scenery with the Pacific, the bodies of water, and the architecture. As for the vibe, it is pretty laid back but still quite lively with a lot of people out at night, plenty of museums and exhibits to see, and lots of restaurants and cafes (a lot of cafes, by the way!).

For long-time PSG followers, there is a before and an after the Leproux plan (the former club president) when it comes to PSG. Before, with the ultras in the two stands (Boulogne and Auteuil), the atmosphere was intense, with chanting and cheering throughout the match, both before and after. But it was also electric, with tensions that sometimes turned into violent or even tragic acts. In short, the Parc des Princes was not safe. The pools, slides, and wild river at this water park are really well done. The kids loved it, and the adults did too. A good, jam-packed day, and when night falls, you sleep like a log :) One small complaint: it was not very clean in some spots.

Lagoon accessible after payment (reasonable price) and pretty quiet, not yet overcrowded, where kids and adults alike can easily discover the underwater wildlife. It is a natural pool protected from the waves where it is easy to learn how to use a mask and snorkel and where you can see tons of fish.

I came here hoping to see turtles, and I didn't have any luck :( I should clarify that I stayed on the "main" beach, the one lined with restaurants. There are agencies that claim you have to go through them to go swimming and see the turtles for sure, for a fee of course. I wasn't really sure if it was a scam or not, so I preferred to decline. That disappointment aside, the place is really relaxing, and it is exactly what you imagine a chill break on the shores of the Caribbean Sea should be like.

Small Center Parcs that does not have large cottages (8 people max) and an Aqua Mundo with pretty basic slides. Families with young children will feel safe and comfortable here. There is even a farm with animals that you can visit on site for free. For teenagers and adults, it feels a bit cramped, the pool didn't seem very clean to me, and it would be nice to have one or two spectacular slides. The staff is pretty nice and attentive.

I saw an Inter Milan match there and I was impressed by the architecture of the stands, which go up so high. The stadium wasn't full, but the atmosphere was intense throughout the whole game. The fans in the curves really push their team for 90 minutes.

Paris has everything to be a very beautiful city, maybe the most beautiful city in the world... But you just don't feel good there: - The city is dirty, the sidewalks, the streets, the building facades... and don't even get me started on the subway :( - For the slightest interesting activity (museums, trendy bars or restaurants), it is crowded, you have to book ahead or wait in line for hours, sometimes both! - Public transportation is often packed and stinky - Traffic is horrible, it makes you not want to take a car (but I hear that is intentional?) - Finally, the people are just unpleasant: they shove you without a word, rush you in shops, with their smiles left at home In short, as you…

I imagine that those who read my latest reviews will think I am a chauvinist. Well, no, I am quick to set the record straight by praising London, a foreign city that I love a lot (among others, by the way). Let us say it frankly, in terms of urban planning and architecture, it is sometimes a bit of a mess (but we should remember that following the bombings by the Nazi V2s, it was not easy to rebuild a city that was homogeneous and aesthetically harmonious). On the other hand, in terms of atmosphere and energy, it is very dynamic and invigorating.
