My favorite spot in Kathmandu! Such a peaceful place. The white dome with its Buddha eyes is fascinating. I recommend walking around it with the locals and the monks, and spinning the prayer wheels. There are plenty of shops and cafes with a view of the stupa, where you can sit down and enjoy this moment of calm.

An iconic and must-see square with many traditional temples and palaces. For me, it is the perfect place to dive into the daily life of the locals, with their rituals, games, offerings, and many shops. You can also head into the courtyard of the Kumari house, where the living goddess of Kathmandu appears at her window every day around noon.

From the boardwalk, you will have a beautiful view of the castle and the river. It is the perfect place to go for a walk, listen to street performers, or eat an ice cream. Underneath the boardwalk, access to the archaeological site allows you to visit the ruins. The promenade is often very crowded, especially at certain times of the year.

Château Frontenac is an iconic hotel with truly impressive architecture. It overlooks the river and offers a beautiful view of Quebec City. You can tour the inside with a guide to discover its history and admire the hotel from Dufferin Terrace, where the walk is very pleasant.

The Montreal Botanical Garden offers a great variety of plants and flowers to admire. It is a true haven of peace in the heart of the city. There are different themed gardens, like the Japanese garden or the Chinese garden with its lotus-filled pond and colorful structures. It is really worth seeing if you go to Montreal.

An ideal place for a walk along the St. Lawrence River. The Old Port offers plenty of activities in every season, including markets, an ice rink, water sports, and a Ferris wheel. I recommend going up the Grande Roue de Montréal, which offers a panoramic view of the city and a glass cage for a thrill.

Montmorency Falls is very impressive because of its height. The trail for walking is easy and offers many viewpoints. You can also take the cable car to go up, and in the summer there is a zipline to get closer to the falls. The site is very accessible, and it is a must-see excursion near Quebec City.

Photos are forbidden inside the castle, and since the site is very busy, I recommend buying tickets in advance.

Amsterdam offers a complete and refreshing experience, blending culture, nature, and nightlife. I recommend planning your trip ahead of time since the accommodations and restaurants are pretty expensive. Spring is an ideal time to admire the tulip fields.

Dam Square is the historic heart of Amsterdam. It is very lively with its street performers, and you can find the Royal Palace, the National Monument, and plenty of cafes and shops nearby. Nice for a walk, it is worth the trip, even if it is not exactly spectacular.
