People have said Podgorica is boring, soulless, and should be avoided... I disagree! First off, I invite you to check out the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. This cathedral is incredible, both inside and out with its "atypical" architecture. Believer or not, I promise you a magical moment. Next, take the time to discover the main bridge in the city and the small parks where you can find statues of the famous figures who shaped the destiny of Montenegro. So yes, 1 or 2 days will be more than enough... But Podgorica is worth a quick detour. :)

While visiting the Bordeaux region, the Dune du Pilat is a must-see. An unexpected discovery. It is a marvel that you have to earn from start to finish. A good climb, and you will have the pride and joy of enjoying a magnificent view over the Arcachon basin. The most courageous ones will go wander on the beach. Little tip: it is possible to rent bikes from Arcachon and discover some magnificent bike paths. It is the best way to discover it. A quick shout-out to the paragliding enthusiasts who can take flight above the basin.

What can I say... The Sistine Chapel remains breathtaking. Whether you have seen it once or 10 times, you will always discover passages, illustrations, and details to uncover or rediscover. In fact, I highly recommend that you take one of the guided tours. The guide will immerse you in a world of anecdotes while sometimes offering you access to exclusive passages. Spoiler: When you enter, they ask for silence... but as I was saying... You will be breathless no matter what happens. Saint Sorlin has found the perfect balance between a family resort and a place for friends to spend some wild nights. For families, you can wander through the winding village streets to discover the cheese shop and its Beaufort and Savoie wine tastings presented by local producers. The snowshoeing treks are excellent, and do not hesitate to ask for Olivier from the ESF! For nights out with friends, La Grotte du Yeti keeps its promise with intense shots and a bar that is just as fired up as the dance floor. In short, Saint Sorlin is worth a week-long visit, especially since your craving for skiing can be satisfied with the 310 km of slopes in Les Sybelles!
