While it is not huge, it is one of the larger coves in Monte Argentario, with an actual (pebble) beach. Make sure to bring water shoes so you can walk on the stones without hurting your feet. I really like this place.

Pretty big zoo with quite a few species to see, botanical gardens, tropical greenhouses, and playgrounds for kids. And they loved it! Along with the black light theater, this zoo was their favorite activity in Prague.

I didn't come to Australia for Canberra, which is relatively unknown even though it is the country's capital. I had checked it off as a stop between Melbourne and Sydney. I don't regret it. The city is very clean, with big open spaces and wide-open views, like on the axis between Parliament and the Memorial. There are a few things to do, specifically the Parliament and the Memorial. That being said, unless you have a lot of time, don't spend more than 2 days there. There is so much to see in the rest of the country!

At the top of a hill overlooking Athens, you cannot miss noticing this monument, both day and night. When you go there in person, the view of the city down below is spectacular. The site itself is large and imposing, but in the end, it is rather bare. The ruins are relatively damaged, with nothing left but the bare, sculpted stone, which is chipped in places.

Nice destination, but if you stick to the free stuff, especially the pool and the walking trails, you will run out of things to do pretty quickly. So, for a small budget, I would stick to just a weekend, nothing more.

I have used this service several times and never had any issues. The staff is courteous and the cars are spotless (I have been upgraded for free several times). Many locations offer 24/7 returns with a drop-off parking lot and a key box. There is no in-person inspection when you return the vehicle outside of business hours, but they have never tried to squeeze extra money out of me. The only downside is the price, which is quite high.

The cottages could really use a refresh, and the cleaning could have been better when we arrived... Plus, a lot of the available activities cost extra. Aside from that, the location is great. Beyond the aquafun, you can get some fresh air around the lake or down by the beach.

Right near Clermont-Ferrand, the Puy de Dome is an ancient volcano that you can hike up and down pretty easily. It is really a walk that I recommend. You will get a good breath of fresh air and see some incredible scenery. Remember to protect yourself from the sun too :)

Stopped by Montpellier for a quick visit. What surprised me the most was the difference between certain neighborhoods, like the old center versus the Antigone district. I wish I had more time to explore it all, but it seems cool, lively, and young.

Tested this seaside destination this summer: terrible atmosphere between the locals who give you dirty looks, and the young vacationers who do not respect much of anything, whether it is with noise pollution or trash left just anywhere on the beaches or in the street. In short, if you are looking for an escape, you will not find it here.

Nice facilities, right by the water, just a few minutes' walk from Eurodisney. The rooms are comfortable and spacious enough that we weren't bumping into each other with 2 adults and 2 young kids. The breakfast buffet is good, varied, and all you can eat. We took advantage of it to fill up so we could have a very light and quick lunch later in the day.

This small art museum obviously does not cover every style or era. They made the smart choice to specialize in Flemish painting. And you can find some very pretty Flemish paintings there. I really liked it.
