I found this museum very pleasant to visit, but also very big! Between the temporary and permanent exhibits, there is something for everyone. I left with a little more knowledge and some pretty photos. The museum is connected to Fort Saint-Jean: if you walk for a few minutes, you discover a beautiful outdoor space. A great place to spend the afternoon!

This famous Old Port is without a doubt the heart of Marseille! Lively at all hours of the day, there is plenty to do to walk around, eat, or simply stroll along the main path. In summer, the small market is a must-see to browse or let yourself be tempted by a little souvenir. And for a bit more calm and contemplation, you can sit on the edge of the docks to watch the sea and its silver reflections.

The British Museum really struck me with its impressive size. The museum is huge, spread out over several floors, with very varied collections. It is a very busy place, which can make the visit a bit crowded or even tiring, but you can also choose to focus on a few sections to enjoy it more. A must-do at least once, while taking your time to appreciate the richness of it all!

The National Gallery was a wonderful surprise. Admission is free (voluntary donation), which makes it easy to pop in, even for a spontaneous visit. I really liked the atmosphere of the place, which was quieter than I expected, and the richness of the paintings on display. You can easily lose yourself there for a while without noticing the time passing. It is a museum that I found particularly pleasant to visit!

I visited a few years ago, and Futuroscope is a park that will appeal to families with, I would say, fairly young children. It is true that the attractions are very focused on a futuristic theme, and the park also offers some original shows and experiences. The atmosphere is more relaxed than at big parks like Disney or Asterix. You take more time to enjoy and appreciate each experience. If you are coming from far away, spending a night on site can be worth it.

Living in the Paris suburbs, I was surprised I didn't know about this park sooner. A really lovely spot to relax during a sunny afternoon. I noticed and appreciated that the park is very generous with benches, which isn't always the case in Paris. I recommend visiting in the spring to enjoy the variety of flowers and colors scattered throughout the park. My favorite spot? The large body of water and its columns, which made me think of ancient Greece and make the park a great photo spot!

I visited during a professional convention, and the Parc des Princes offered us a guided tour of the behind-the-scenes areas: the pitch, the locker rooms, the treatment rooms, and the hallway tracing the history of PSG jerseys. It was a great opportunity to see the original jerseys from so close up. The tour lasts about twenty minutes and is a nice way to take a break during your day. For soccer fans or just the curious, it is worth the trip.

The Sacré-Cœur is sort of the final stop for a stroll through the Montmartre neighborhood. Located up high, the basilica offers a really beautiful view, perfect for taking a moment and admiring the city. Its white facade and architecture immediately catch your eye. As for the interior, it immerses you in a special atmosphere that is both calm and solemn. A must-see historic monument to visit when you are in Montmartre!

I visited Notre-Dame Cathedral a few months after its reopening, accompanied by a friend who came from Hong Kong. We enjoyed the visit, but we didn't come away particularly impressed. The stained glass windows remain very beautiful both from the inside and the outside, especially the large rose window with its shades of blue and purple. I highly recommend booking a time slot online in advance (the visit is free) if you want to avoid waiting in line for a few hours!

A little patch of green right in the middle of the 19th arrondissement, this park is a nice spot to recharge and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Its simplicity is what makes it charming. You come here without any particular expectations, just to relax and enjoy the quiet. A great spot for an impromptu picnic, or just to get some fresh air.

My first visit to the Orsay Museum really impressed me, especially with its charming interior. The clock on the top floor offers the perfect viewpoint for a great photo. The museum is a victim of its own success and is often very crowded, so I would recommend visiting on a weekday. The exhibitions are varied and interesting, and the permanent collection is very complete. It is a must-see in Paris. A quick tip: admission is free on the first Sunday of every month, provided you book 1 month in advance (be careful, tickets go very fast!).

The Tuileries Garden is a very pleasant park for a walk or a rest. Depending on the time of year, you might find yourself right in the middle of a Christmas market or at the heart of a big, lively fair in August. I especially love being able to run into tourists from all walks of life, and it is this diversity that is part of the garden's charm. It remains a very popular spot, however, and is therefore very crowded.

You really get pulled into the vibe as soon as you arrive at this aquarium. If you like anime, the atmosphere might remind you of those aquarium date scenes, it definitely did for me! I recommend bringing a little notebook to collect stamps of the different animals throughout your visit (and all over Japan, for that matter!). It is also possible to walk through the gift shop, but you should definitely stop at the cafe with a view of the city and the ocean, which is especially beautiful at nightfall.

One of my favorite spots in Japan! Even before arriving at the park, you already run into deer in the streets, which immediately sets the mood. The park is huge, ideal for long walks in a really soothing natural setting. Feeding the deer was definitely my favorite moment. You can also find a row of little souvenir shops and food stalls, perfect for taking a break and recharging your batteries. I recommend it without hesitation to nature lovers and curious travelers alike!
