You can also walk along a lovely path that runs by the cliff. It is an enjoyable walk where you can admire the scenery, the pleasure boats, and the sailing school. Nothing but happiness.

You arrive at a small hill even though you are at the coast. You can drive up or walk. Once you are there, there is a viewfinder table and an old monument. You can also take a guided tour of the small mill where they explain how flour was produced back in the day. There is also a small restaurant, but it is closed off-season. Worth discovering with the family.

I also recommend taking a boat tour to discover the fort and see the city from a different angle. So magical. The Oceanogràfic aquarium in Valencia is worth the trip. It is hard to skip if you are in town with the kids. There are plenty of marine animals to discover and shows to see. You can spend a great afternoon exploring. There is a restaurant to grab a bite if you decide to stay for the whole day.

Very picturesque village in Brittany. A must-see if you are a fan of seafood and fresh oysters. You can enjoy them freshly harvested with a nice bottle of white wine while sitting on the concrete piers along the beach and the oyster beds. Try to go on a market day to have more options. You can also just stroll along the beach. Very beautiful view and a total change of scenery guaranteed.

If you want to spend a nice day out with the family with kids and teens, this park is a great fit. There is a whole section with attractions for the little ones and a few rides that are a bit more intense. In the summer, it is really pleasant. You run into some characters every now and then, and everything is built around the theme of Plop the gnome and his friends.

It is a place to visit at least once with the kids, while they are still at the age to be amazed! Clearly, aim for a weekday outside of school holidays, otherwise the dream turns into a nightmare given the crowds and the wait times. From a practical standpoint, remember to book your dinner restaurant well in advance so you can treat yourself to a real break away from the crowd before the grand parade.

We discovered this historic place as a family. We walked for about 45 minutes on the path leading to the mount because the buses were overcrowded. But the view was magnificent, so it didn't seem hard to us. There are too many people in the narrow streets and we weren't able to see the inside of the abbey because the crowd was so dense in the middle of July. On the other hand, we walked along the ramparts and were able to discover some beautiful, quieter gardens. We would do it again outside of school holidays and definitely during the high tides when the mount is isolated and becomes an island again.

Small, quiet village that is very green and pleasant to walk around in. The little shopping street and the beautiful park located near the thermal baths are perfect for strolling. Don't hesitate to try the thermal baths with the outdoor pool. It is small, but the setting is gorgeous. Take the opportunity to try the Uriage products!

You take a cable car located at Chamrousse 1650. You can buy a round-trip ticket for pedestrians. There is a specific line for pedestrians, and the wait time is very short. Once at the top, you can admire the cross and eat at the mountain restaurant. It is a beautiful view that you should not miss.
