The most beautiful place and one of the finest beaches in Mauritius is in Trou aux Biches, with white sand and turquoise water. Playa del Carmen is a big strip with tons of shops, restaurants, and clubs, always super lively, day and night. If you have seen the cult scene from the movie The Mask with Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz, then you absolutely have to go check out the real place where it was filmed: Coco Bongo on the Playa del Carmen avenue. An island you absolutely have to visit! And stay for at least 3 or 4 days. In Holbox, there are no cars because there are no roads. Everything is done on foot or by jeep. There are plenty of jeep taxis on the island. Total change of scenery: very eco-friendly cafes where you can enjoy delicious mocha frappes, walking along the beach at sunset… and something you absolutely must do: the bioluminescence. A magical experience, exclusively at night. It is a natural phenomenon that happens in the sea. I paid 35 euros (about $38) for the excursion. They picked us up by jeep at nightfall in front of the hotel, which was already fun, then, once we arrived at the seaside, we walked about 100 meters. And there… incredible: a sublime starry sky with the constellations. We had a guide who explained the different stars to us and we were a small group of 10. What was magical was that when we moved in the water, filaments of blue light stood out at the contact of the water's movement (like in Avatar). It was surreal: the stars and the bioluminescence combined. For a couple, it is a more than romantic experience, a must-do!

Located 35 minutes by ferry from Playa del Carmen, this is one of the most beautiful islands. You absolutely have to go! The town center is very charming. The sea is crystal clear! We stumbled upon an incredible spot: turquoise sea, water at 86 degrees, beautiful fish in every color, and not a tourist in sight. Little secret... the place is called Skyreef Beach Club Cozumel. You can also enjoy delicious Mexican dishes and cold drinks there. The prices are even cheaper than in Playa del Carmen. Tip: stay for 2 to 3 days. You can get around the island pretty quickly.

The most breathtaking thing, if you are connected to the right vibes, is Luxor with those columns over 20 meters high surrounded by colorful 3,000-year-old hieroglyphics. There is really a unique atmosphere there and you come away changed... A little tip, go very early when the sun rises, or at sunset.

Egypt! The most beautiful trip I have ever taken, not just because I was already a fan of the history of the pyramids back in middle school! But for the change of scenery... From the moment we arrived in Cairo, we were immersed in the unique atmosphere and distinct scents. We stopped at the museum to see the statue of Tutankhamun, then headed to Giza to see the Sphinx and the pyramids on camelback. It felt like being in another era.
