Patou Solidarité

Patou Solidarité is a French nonprofit association that has been working for nearly four years alongside indigenous communities, women, and children in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Through projects conceived and carried out in close collaboration with local communities and families, we work to improve their living conditions while respecting their culture and traditions.
Our programs include school exchange programs, clothing and supply drives, child sponsorships, school greenhouses to improve nutrition in local schools, cultural performances with children from the communities, and the development of what would be the first shelter for abused women in the Amazon region.
All of this work happens on the ground, made possible by the permanent presence of our president, Myriam Vieillard, who lives locally and manages the projects directly.
