About this property

Tout compris

Riviera Maya beachfront, lush tropical forest, and all-inclusive luxury at an eco-conscious 5-star hotel.

Jungle, Caribbean, and all-inclusive: a resort that cares for its environment

Located directly on a Riviera Maya beach, 2.5 km from the center of Playa del Carmen and 3.5 km from Xcaret, this 5-star establishment stands out for its concrete environmental approach. A portion of the tropical forest is preserved on the property, a team of biologists monitors local wildlife, and EarthCheck certification validates these commitments. No single-use plastics are used in the rooms or common areas.

Rooms

The range extends from the 35-square-meter Premium room with a balcony and jungle view to the 212-square-meter Penthouse Suite featuring a private terrace with a whirlpool tub facing the sea. In between, the Junior Suites (38 square meters) offer sea or garden views, and the Two-Bedroom Family unit (70 square meters, two bathrooms, two balconies) meets the needs of larger groups. All categories include air conditioning, a daily restocked minibar, free Wi-Fi, and unlimited access to purified water.

Dining and leisure

The all-inclusive package covers meals at 5 restaurants and 3 buffets: the Cozumel Buffet (Mexican and international cuisine), the Tulum Buffet (show cooking, theme nights), the Bonsai Japanese restaurant (maki, teppanyaki, responsibly caught fish), the Smoke House La Hacienda (Texas-style smoked meats), and the poolside Beach Grill Uxmal.

Four bars round out the experience, including a swim-up bar and a beachside kiosk.

As for recreation, the property features four outdoor pools, water sports (kayaking, catamaran, snorkeling, and windsurfing are included for one hour daily), tennis courts, a fitness center (reserved for guests 16 and older), a PADI-certified Dressel Divers center, and the Sensations Spa with an hydrotherapy circuit (sauna, Turkish bath, sensory shower).

Who it is for

Families with children: the Star Camp program hosts kids and teens aged 4-17 with workshops, games, and environmental awareness activities. A pool with slides and a park are dedicated to them. Couples seeking nature: massages in the middle of the jungle, hammocks strung between trees, and direct beach access facing Cozumel.
Travelers who prefer an urban hotel in the city center: the resort is located in a hotel zone 2.5 km from the heart of Playa del Carmen. Also note: the establishment will be closed for renovations from May 15 to November 30, 2026.

Access to the facilities at the neighboring Iberostar Waves Tucán hotel is included in the all-inclusive package, which significantly expands the range of restaurants and amenities available to you.

Beautiful layout

Let's start with what I liked the most: the layout of the property, where they have recreated mini jungles, waterfalls, ponds... You will run into rodents, squirrels, monkeys, turtles, iguanas, flamingos, herons, swans, ducks, peacocks, kingfishers, toucans, fish... Some animals like the turtles or toucans are in enclosures, while others roam freely in the hotel's jungle.

Next, the rooms are clean, the bedding is large and comfortable, and the shower is spacious.

Pool: top notch, large with beach-entry spots in some areas.

Beach: white sand, warm and turquoise water, but very crowded. By walking about ten minutes to the south, the beach becomes a bit more wild, bordered by the jungle.

Dining: it is all inclusive, so you can definitely go wild on the portions. As for the quality, you will have to be a little picky. By the way, the orange juice in the rooms (fridge) is better than what is served at the table.
