This property is located in the heart of Lisbon, halfway between the Rossio and Baixa-Chiado metro stations in one of the city's few flat neighborhoods, Baixa. Just steps from the residence, you can visit landmarks like the Elevador de Santa Justa (Santa Justa Lift), Igreja de São Roque (Church of Saint Roch), and Castelo de São Jorge (Saint George's Castle). Amenities and facilities
The front desk is staffed 24 hours a day. A rooftop terrace is available for guests and offers panoramic views of Lisbon. You can also handle your laundry during your stay in the on-site laundry area, so you do not need to overpack.
Dining services
During your stay in your apartment, you can take advantage of the restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For snacks throughout the day, the property also features a café. The establishment invites you to relax in its lounge bar, which includes some outdoor seating for a well-deserved break.
The location is remarkably good, right in the center of Baixa. Rua dos Sapateiros is a quiet street, even though it is located in the immediate vicinity of the very lively Rua Augusta.
There is a strong focus on the decor. It is a bit alternative and post industrial, which we liked. Others will probably like it less.
The service is friendly and helpful, with a few tips given for visiting the city. The young man who hosts the breakfast (buffet style) is really very kind, attentive, and smiley.
The rooms are very decent, with perhaps just one complaint about the bedding, which I did not find very comfortable. My daughter, on the other hand, loved her travel crib!
Finally, the furnished terrace at the top of the building, on the 7th floor, is top notch. It offers nice views of the city, which in my opinion are not far from being as good as the ones offered by the Elevador de Santa Justa located a stone's throw away.
