Room prices are affordable, especially compared to other hotels in the same neighborhood. For that price, you get a functional and clean room. As for the breakfast, it costs extra. There is also a cafeteria on the ground floor. As usual in Japan, the staff was very welcoming and very kind. For example, the staff offered to hold our bags between our check out and the time we left the city. Very nice!
The big plus for Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto is its proximity to Kyoto Station, which is right across the street. You really can't do better than that!
