I walked past Sainte-Chapelle many times in the past without even noticing this little religious monument, literally glued to the Palais de Justice. To be honest, the price is pretty steep for how long the visit takes (30 minutes if you just want to "see" it, longer if you want to look at all the details). When you enter the first level... It's nice, but cramped, and my first impression was disappointment: I paid 23€ for this??? Then, a staircase I hadn't noticed at first leads you up to the upper level... I really like TeamLab, it is always a slightly magical sensory experience, it is gorgeous and extremely well done. BUT... It is a total highway, there are crowds everywhere all the time and a lot of waiting in line to get the most instagrammable photos possible. So the experience is a bit mixed on my end, it is a super place but you have to expect it to be packed. On the flip side, the experience is really great for kids, with activities specially dedicated to them where they can have an absolute blast!

As a huge fan of natural history museums, I can totally recommend it! For the record, at first I only visited one building, which hosts the temporary exhibits (crocodiles at the time, it was incredible), without realizing there was a HUGE multi-story one right next door. And I was already thrilled!! And then I discovered the whole dinosaur skeleton section, and let me tell you, it is just bonkers. It is an absolute feast for the eyes if you love dinos and fossils. A must-do for adults and kids alike, you will have a blast!

Expedia can be interesting if you want to bundle everything in one place (flight + hotel). On the other hand, I find that prices are often higher than on other platforms. You also need to look closely at the flights offered, because they are not always the best options and the price can quickly jump at checkout. There is also less choice, and I found the customer service pretty average.

I use Agoda, especially for their rates. After comparing with numerous platforms, I find that they often offer the best prices. It also lets you find, in certain countries, hotels that are not necessarily listed on other platforms.

I use Booking quite regularly for my trips. The platform is handy and easy to use, with a lot of choices and generally clear information. Reservations are simple and fast. However, remember to check directly on the hotel's website, because rates can sometimes be cheaper than on Booking.

I was nervous about booking a long-haul business class ticket, but Travelopod made it easy. They compared airlines and connection options, walked me through baggage and change policies, and got me a better price than any public site. When my layover changed, they rebooked me quickly. Completely different vibe from the big Japanese cities, it was a truly peaceful break. A few days are enough to catch your breath and see something different from the traditional Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto route. In the snow, it is even more magical. A little town in the Japanese Alps, it is a real haven of peace.

Shirakawa-go under a blanket of snow is like a fairy tale, absolutely magical and gorgeous. The little traditional snow-covered houses, the mountains all around, I really felt like I was in Santa's village. It is hard not to be amazed, everything was just so incredible. Clearly one of the places that left the biggest impression on me during my trip to Japan.
