How to get to Puy du Fou

The famous historical theme park is located in the town of les Epesses, 70 km southeast of Nantes.

Several transportation options are available:

  • By car, take the A87 highway connecting Angers to La Roche-sur-Yon and take exit 28.
  • By train, arriving at the stations in Nantes, Angers, and Cholet.
  • Shuttles are run by Puy du Fou from the Angers St Laud high-speed rail station directly to the park entrance. This service requires an extra fee and advance reservation. Expect about thirty euros round trip per passenger, and 1h30 each way.
  • By plane, flying into Nantes Atlantique Airport.

Finding budget lodging around the park

Naturally, plenty of other accommodations sit right near the park, including hotels, vacation rentals, gites, bed and breakfasts, and campgrounds.
