Watch out for the price though, it stings

With its unique geography, the park is really pretty to walk through, with an overlook of the famous Hollywood studios and attractions that are all high quality. There is a lot of 3D, but that is not all! There is something for everyone and it is very enjoyable. We went on a Monday in October, and except for Super Mario World, we were waiting between 5 and 20 minutes everywhere, so it was really top notch.
A must do: the studio tour, which lasts about an hour and is one of a kind, so definitely do not miss it!
In 2026, the Fast & Furious ride is going to open, and I can tell you that it looks INCREDIBLE!

Xcaret is an eco-archaeological park in Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula. It combines cultural attractions, shows, and water activities, which is original. I appreciated the beauty of the site, the cleanliness of the facilities, and the richness of the shows, especially the evening one that highlights Mexican history and traditions. However, the commercial aspect is also quite present. Some popular activities, like swimming with dolphins, cost extra, which makes the day expensive. The crowds are also a bit much, even though the park is vast.

Xel-Há is a natural aquatic park located in the Yucatán, Mexico. It is loved by visitors for its huge lagoon with crystal clear water. This unique spot lets you go snorkeling among colorful fish. I especially liked the variety of activities offered, ranging from floating down the river in an inner tube to jumping off the cliffs, even though I was a little stressed about jumping. The setting is perfectly integrated into nature and the organization is well thought out, which means the atmosphere stays peaceful despite the crowds. The all-inclusive aspect is debatable, because it definitely drives up the price.

Compared to the athletic Venice, Santa Monica offers a more family-friendly atmosphere. Its beautiful pier, with its boat-shaped lifeguard station, is home to a small amusement park. I recommend the Ferris wheel, the symbol of the place, which gives a very pretty view of Santa Monica.
It is a perfect walk for a few hours. You will take great photos there with the wheel or the Route 66 sign. You enjoy the sea, eat an ice cream, and let yourself be carried away by this soothing and joyful vibe. At sunset, it is magnificent.

If you are in Los Angeles, spending a day at Universal Studios is only worth it if you enjoy 3D attractions and stunt shows. Thrill seekers will be disappointed, even though the Fast & Furious ride, which was under construction during my visit, should be opening soon.
Most of the attractions feel like 4DX combined with 3D screens. The Simpsons ride is pretty well done. The park also has a Mario Kart ride, which is similar to the Buzz Lightyear one at Disneyland Paris, and a Jurassic World boat ride with great sets. But for me, the most beautiful area is still Hogwarts castle, which is truly impressive, and the Hogsmeade village where I was able to enjoy some butterbeer. The flagship attrac…

This is a totally charming spot right on the Pacific Ocean that you absolutely have to visit during a trip to Los Angeles. Plan to go at the end of the day, after catching a sunset at Venice Beach, which is the neighborhood right nearby. This pier is the symbolic end of Route 66, which crosses the entire United States. It is also an amusement park called "Pacific Park" with all kinds of rides, including a very famous Ferris wheel.
I have rarely seen so many exotic fish in such clear water. The lagoon is protected from the swell, so it is the perfect place for beginners and kids to discover snorkeling.
