The Witches Market in La Paz is pretty small and clearly aimed at tourists. You can find all sorts of items related to local beliefs there, like herbs, potions, amulets, and even offerings for the Pachamama. The vibe is unique, sitting somewhere between ancestral tradition and tourist curiosity. Despite that, the locals are very friendly and always ready to explain their customs and ancient rituals. I enjoyed this immersion, which offers a fascinating glimpse into Bolivian culture.

I really loved my visit to the Santa Catalina Monastery in Arequipa. What struck me were the vibrant colors of the walls, which give incredible energy to every corner and really contrast with the white walls in the rest of the city. The setting is magical, with the mountains in the background, it is almost surreal. While walking through this "village within the city," I felt like I was traveling back in time, all while surrounded by intense beauty. This place touched me with its history and unique atmosphere, and it is a perfect spot for photography lovers and cultural explorers. A must-see in Arequipa.

The Huacachina Oasis, lost in the middle of the dunes, is a true gem. I loved the incredible sunsets in the desert, which created a magical atmosphere. Riding a dune buggy in the evening and sandboarding at twilight was an unforgettable experience, full of adrenaline. The vibe there is awesome, a mix of adventure and friendliness. To top it all off, I even had dinner in the desert under a starry sky, a moment out of time. Huacachina is definitely a place not to be missed!

I see a lot of people saying it is very touristy and it is, but honestly, that does not take anything away from its beauty. I arrived after five days of walking on the Salkantay Trek, and that adventure made every step toward the site even more powerful. When I saw it in the early morning, surrounded by mist and mountains, I had tears in my eyes. It is a place filled with history, mystical. Despite the crowd, I felt something very special. It is, without a doubt, one of my favorite memories from my world trip.
Charming place, but nothing special

A nice museum to visit, especially for the setting and the colors of the house. The collection remains limited, focusing more on Frida's life than on her art. The garden is very beautiful with pretty plants. A small downside: a pass is sold at the entrance if you want to take photos or videos. It is an interesting outing but not essential if you are not all that interested in the artist.

During my visit to Chapultepec Castle, I was really surprised by the beauty of the place. The views of Mexico City from the balconies are simply breathtaking, and the gardens offer a calm escape in the middle of the urban hustle and bustle. I especially liked the murals and the historical objects, which tell the history of the country with such force and emotion. After the visit, do not hesitate to walk around the surrounding gardens. It is a peaceful and very pleasant moment.

Stone Town was a total change of scenery for me, with its narrow alleys, carved doors, and the smell of spices... We loved getting lost in the old town with my family, just wandering and roaming around. Authentic local life brings every street corner to life. What touched me the most was the kindness of the locals, they are always smiling, welcoming, and ready to chat, you feel right at home there immediately.

This was our first stop as a family, and right from the entrance, I felt like I was diving into the set of The Lion King. The landscape is magnificent, wild, almost unreal. I saw an incredible number of elephants, sometimes barely a few feet from our 4x4! The atmosphere is peaceful, intimate, and very different from other big parks. A memorable experience.

The Ngorongoro Crater will stay etched in my memory as one of the best moments of my safari in Tanzania. In just one day, I saw rhinos, elephants, lions, wildebeests, hyenas, zebras... and even hippos! But beyond the animals, it was really the atmosphere that left a mark on me. This unique, almost unreal scenery is different from anything I had seen in the other parks. You feel so small surrounded by this magnificent nature. It was a total feast for the eyes.

Breathtaking landscapes, animals as far as the eye can see... We were there with the family, right in the middle of migration season, and it was a magical sight. Lions, lionesses, lion cubs perched in the trees, giraffes running, wildebeests, zebras, gazelles... Serengeti National Park is a total immersion in the wild, worthy of The Lion King movie. Today we have memories that will last a lifetime. An absolute must.
