An airline incapable of flying

Royal Air Maroc: a total disgrace! My mother was stuck in Casablanca, pushed around without any information, and treated without a shred of humanity. No respect, no assistance. We are not going to let you act like nothing happened.
Total outrage. Royal Air Maroc left my mother all alone, without her luggage, without any help, at the airport for over 12 hours. Humiliated, abandoned. Non-existent customer service.
Zero support, zero respect. A shabby hotel, and no help despite European law EC 261/2004. Royal Air Maroc, you respect neither people nor the law.
Deplorable service at Royal Air Maroc. To think this is a national airline... Passengers treated like lost packages. And actually, you can at least track a package.

Mediocre airline, unprofessional and dishonest

Check-in with a zealous agent, no priority boarding for families with children like respectable airlines usually do. Delay as usual, with a pathetic excuse at the start that there was too much luggage in the hold, which was supposedly the reason for the delay lol (first time I have ever heard a reason like that). Then, after half an hour, zero communication from either the pilot or the cabin crew, who went to hide at the back of the plane to avoid being questioned by passengers about the wait. In the end, a delay of 2 hours and 15 minutes (and yes!) at takeoff that was never made up during the flight. Two and a quarter hours during which not a single flight attendant had the brilliant idea to serve even glasses of water as an apology. PATHETIC, UNBELIEVABLE.

Worse than that, while traveling with two young children, I asked for a glass of water and one of the flight attendants told me it was only possible right after takeoff. What the f... what is this? It is not over! When you put your stuff in the overhead bin, not even 30 seconds pass before you are being hustled almost manu militari by rude flight attendants telling you to hurry up. And the icing on the cake, I went to the bathroom before that famous late takeoff to clean my baby's bottle, and after two minutes, I was pressured by a flight attendant to get out, claiming they were worried about me! What kind of service is this, honestly?

The baby meal I booked on flighthub, we never got it. Another thing that did not get back to RAM at booking, or it got back and RAM dodged it or missed it! On the other hand, when my wife begged one of the flight attendants, even offering to pay, it was like we were asking for charity, even just to check if there was any left.

Speaking of things that do not get back to RAM, I had a Montreal to Casa flight in February 2024, also booked via flighthub, and I only realized after 6 months that RAM did not grant me the miles! Despite explaining the situation twice, politely and in detail (my father was sick and I was expecting a baby, I did not have the time to log in and check something that you normally should not even have to check), here are the two delusional responses from Safar Flyer, you know, those people who are unreachable by phone as if they were living gods:

1. Dear Mr. YOUSSEF ALJ,
We inform you that the 6-month deadline to request the regularization of your flights has passed.
Indeed, the Miles corresponding to your flight AT209 on 05/02/2024 and AT208 on 13/02/2024 cannot be credited to your account. To earn Miles automatically on your future trips, systematically indicate your Safar Flyer card number when traveling on Royal Air Maroc, on the oneworld network, or during any activity carried out with our Safar Flyer partners.

2. Dear Mr. Youssef ALJ,
Thank you for your detailed and sincere message. We perfectly understand the difficult situation you went through and the stress it may have caused. Rest assured that your request has been examined with all the attention it deserves.
However, after a thorough review, we must inform you that due to our internal policy, it is unfortunately not possible for us to make an exception at this stage.
We know that this may be disappointing, especially in such circumstances, and we sincerely thank you for your understanding. We hope that despite this decision, we will have the pleasure of welcoming you on board our flights in the future.
We thank you for your loyalty to our company and remain at your disposal for any future assistance.

You would think RAM is becoming less and less human and understanding over time, because in 2019, in the same situation with my wife, RAM had regularized the points even after that ridiculous 6-month deadline that makes no sense!

ANY OTHER DECENT COMPANY IN THE WORLD would have regularized my miles without a problem using the boarding passes I kept, but here we are talking about RAM: zero customer attention (I am still shocked by the absence of them serving anything after two hours of delay!), zero customer service, zero psychology, zero humanity, zero tact (flight attendants pushing you around), hypocrisy. In short, everything that reinforces its already bad reputation, for which the Covid period was the peak: even today, plenty of customers, including friends of mine, have still not been reimbursed for flights canceled by RAM back then! Incredible but true. Do the people in charge of this company have a conscience or morals to take people's money despite a service never rendered, or to deprive them of their miles?

Worst I have ever seen

With RAM, delays are standard. If your flight is scheduled for 11 AM, rest assured you will leave at 2 PM.

The service is TRASH, and they lose luggage on every flight. Once you are on board, it feels like you are getting on a bus in Bamako.

Avoid at all costs.

Never had a problem

I have never had any problems with RAM. I really like the Paris to Agadir route, and there are never any issues or delays.

On par with European airlines

RAM is one of the best airlines for getting to Morocco, right up there with the European national carriers.

That said, if you are looking for a deal, it is worth comparing Royal Air Maroc prices with those from Jet4you or other low-cost airlines. It can make a plane ticket a lot cheaper.

Huge, unjustified delays

I strongly advise against this airline, which has huge delays anyway and doesn't even offer an explanation.

For example, my May 2nd flight from Ouaga to Paris had a 5 hour and 30 minute wait in Casablanca, for a total travel time of 12 hours and 30 minutes. A direct flight takes 5 hours.

Plus, the staff on board wasn't pleasant.

As for me, RAM NEVER AGAIN
