Luxury as DNA
It seems the word German rhymes with luxury and opulence. If German cars have accustomed us to a certain level of refinement and elegance, the same holds true in the skies with Lufthansa, a carrier that has cultivated a high-end German touch since its inception.
The story begins in Berlin in 1926, the year this aviation leader was founded following the merger of two German companies, Deutsche Aero Lloyd and Junkers Luftverkehr. A series of partnerships followed, eventually leading Lufthansa to become a co-founder of the Star Alliance group and the owner of several renowned subsidiaries, including SWISS, Lufthansa Regional, Eurowings Europe, Austrian, and Brussels Airlines.
A First Class recognized worldwide
While these various alliances have allowed the company to expand, its rapid growth is primarily due to one element, its First Class service. This offering built its global reputation and earned a shower of awards, including a 5-star Skytrax rating in 2013. The secret is the LUXE that permeates every level, starting with limousine service and access to private lounges, not to mention gastronomic menus, porcelain tableware, 180-degree lie-flat seats, high-speed Wi-Fi, or personalized offers.
This luxury is not reserved for First Class alone. It extends to Business Class and Economy Class, as well as the recent Premium Economy Class. This category acts as a blend of business class at a more accessible price point, serving as a solid compromise to attract new customers. These travelers join the 66 million passengers already recorded in 2017, whom the company transports to over 300 destinations in about 100 countries, thanks to a fleet of 336 aircraft, including the legendary A380 giant.
My nephew has been trying to get back to Hannover for 2 days. Today his flight from Frankfurt was canceled and he couldn't make it. On 8/14 he left Cagliari with a 4 hour delay for Munich. His connecting flight to Hannover had already left and he was left stranded, zero help from customer service, he had to find a hotel on his own and figure it out. Today his flight from Frankfurt to Hannover was canceled after he actually managed to get from Munich to Frankfurt! I hope my nephew files criminal charges against you because you are pathetic!
