This Cevennes summit is a must in the region! Come hiking, biking, or by car, but take the time to stop there, especially in good weather. Then you will benefit (as I was lucky enough to do) from an immense view over the south of the country. They say you can see the sea, but I didn't have that luck... But what a grandiose setting: a perfect destination for athletes, nature lovers, or families out for a walk.

The view from the top of Mont Ventoux is truly exceptional. To get there, you will need to start a hike that remains accessible with a little effort. In the summer, leave early in the morning and bring plenty of water because of the heat. It is also possible to get there by car, but it is less fun.

This legendary peak really earns its reputation! After the many switchbacks, I started a hike on a really tough trail. Around a bend in the path, I was blown away by the expanse of the view, with sun-drenched Provence stretching out beneath our feet under a blue sky. A heads up to nature lovers, the site is rich in wildlife, and you can see chamois, roe deer, and red deer there!

During my bike ride in Étretat, I discovered the famous Aval Cliff with its well-known hole, the Porte d'Aval. The site is perfect for unforgettable photos, offering a spectacular view of the sea and the surrounding cliffs. An iconic place you cannot miss! They are known all over the world, and for good reason! It lived up to our expectations.

The Puy de Dome is impressive, and you can spot it from a long way off in the landscape. To reach the summit, cars aren't allowed. You can take the Panoramique des Domes train or ride your bike during the dedicated cycling days. There are also plenty of hiking trails. The region is gorgeous, a really great find.

As someone who loves hiking, I was really looking forward to going up the Puy de Dôme and I wasn't disappointed. The climb is pleasant with beautiful scenery along the customs officer trail. Even though it's uphill, it remains doable without being super athletic. The view at the summit is truly superb, it's worth the effort.

The Puy de Dome was a huge favorite of mine. I loved the climb, which isn't easy, but is very rewarding. It is quite steep, but you get to enjoy superb views of the Chaine des Puys. Reaching the summit after the effort provides such a great feeling, with that 360 degree panorama. An experience that makes you want to come back and hike in this beautiful region.

The Aval Cliff in Étretat is just magnificent. The arch and the needle are even more impressive in person than in photos. I took the trail that goes up to the summit, and the view of the English Channel, with the white cliffs, is incredible. This site definitely deserves its reputation, and it is large enough that you aren't bothered by the tourists, even in summer.

This is one of my favorite spots for hiking! I have been there twice and I am always amazed by this volcanic landscape as far as the eye can see. Several paths are available with different difficulty levels. The sentier des muletiers, which starts from the Col de Ceyssat, remains fairly easy. For a longer hike, I recommend the chemin des chèvres, accessible from the Panoramique parking lot. It goes through the woods and offers more beautiful scenery, but you have to take your time. Otherwise, a small train allows you to get to the top without getting tired. At the top, the view is breathtaking. I did my second paragliding flight there. Accessible no matter your skill level or mobility, Mont Ventoux is an exceptional site. The summit offers a somewhat barren space, but the most important thing remains the view. The panorama is magnificent, and you get the feeling you could just fly away. No matter how you choose to get there, you will leave with the feeling that you have seen something exceptional!
