Wonderful surprise

We spent a weekend as a couple at this hotel in the center of Berlin.

To be honest, when we saw the category (at the time, I do not remember if it was a 4 or 5 star) and its very central location, along with the super attractive price (less than €90 ($97) for two people per night), we almost expected a scam somewhere: the hotel under construction, an urban highway running right by the building, or something like that.

Actually, no, not at all. Everything went very well. The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The top floor has an indoor pool that is very, very nice after days of walking. A very charming French intern at the front desk gave us lots of tips on the city, the neighborhood, and restaurants.

I highly recommend this place!
